We had a fantastic time at the El Pueblo Coffee Tour. The experience was both educational and fun, and the guides were incredibly passionate about coffee and Costa Rican culture. They explained the entire process clearly, from the coffee plant all the way to roasting and tasting. What made the tour special was how interactive it was. We could see, smell, and taste each step of the process, which made it much more engaging than a typical tour. The coffee tasting at the end was excellent, and we learned how to recognize the different aromas and flavors. The setting is beautiful and very authentic, surrounded by nature and with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly proud of what they do. If you are visiting the Monteverde area, this tour is absolutely worth doing. A great way to understand Costa Rican coffee culture and enjoy some truly delicious coffee.

The owner was our driver! Very friendly and cheerful. Our tour guide was very friendly and gave us a great tour of this coffee farm and tasting. The owner also crushed sugar cane and lime for Aqua Dulce, delicious! I would do this tour again. Very nice small farm and facilities.

I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide Danial was great at explaining all the steps of coffee production. He was funny and informative. I left with a greater appreciation of coffee and the process to grow and harvest the beans. I will definitely be able to use what I learned when I am purchasing coffee in Canada. The icing on the cake was the coffee tasting at the end and the traditional taco and banana bread. Delicious.

It was a great experience. We only registered in the morning for the tour in the afternoon, all without any problems. We have learned a lot about coffee, cultivation, processing and consumption. With a lot of humor and entertainment we were even allowed to taste sugar cane, homemade cake and lots of coffee. Thank you very much

The coffee tour was really good. It was interesting learning about where coffee comes from and the coffees were really good. Extra points for the little taco and the banana bread. The woman that drove us home was so nice she took us to an amazing viewpoint in Monteverde.

This is the perfect coffee tour on a small coffee and sugar cane plantation run by a family for a few generations. Authentic tour. We had a great guide who talked us through the coffee production while walking us around the farm to see each part of the production. Beautiful setting in the hills with amazing views. We had coffee tasting at the end of the tour.

A wonderful afternoon spent with our guide, José. We learned so much. You have no idea how complicated, and fascinating, the processing of the coffee harvest is! Incidentally, the views from this mountainside in Monteverde where the coffee plantation is are fantastic. ~mp

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the El Pueblo coffee plantation. We tasted coffee beans from the plant, saw the whole process from growing to picking to roasting to brewing. Who knew? We also met Freddy the 3rd generation property owner who made us some fresh sugar cane juice with lime. We had some delicious snacks at the end of the tour along with different types of coffee brewed several ways. The views, the people, the process-great experience!
