A gentle, easy level rainforest hike that leads to a crystal clear natural pool, perfect for families, seniors, and beginners. No special footwear is needed since the trail is smooth enough for sandals, yet immersive enough to feel the rainforest come alive around you. As you walk, you’ll hear the river guiding you, sometimes soft and sometimes louder depending on the mountain’s rainfall, creating a peaceful soundtrack that welcomes you into El Yunque’s heart.
When you reach the natural pool and take your first dip in its refreshing waters, you’ll feel why this place is one of the most magical ways to meet El Yunque for the very first time. It’s the kind of moment that stays with you long after you leave.
To complete the experience, we finish the day at the famous Luquillo Kiosks, where you can enjoy local cuisine right by the beach before heading back.

5.00A calm hike/walk in El Yunque to a beautiful water spot. Yatzel was very kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable! The lunch after at the kioskos was the most amazing food I had during my stay in PR and the time at the beach was lovely too! I would def recommend!

5.00Yatzel was a fabulous guide! He was enthusiastic about sharing his broad knowledge of Puerto Rico and its culture. He was very understanding and helpful to one member of our group with vision issues. He was very conscious of safety for all of us and frequently made suggestions to keep us safe. He made suggestions about where to swim and dive in the river based on his knowledge and experience. This adventure was exactly as described.

5.00Lately was absolutely amazing. He was so friendly, organized, and knowledgeable. This was by far was the BEST tour we have taken. He really knows his country and takes great pride in its history. The hike was a little rougher than I anticipated but Yatzel taught us safe ways to get through the harder spots and once we made it to the water it was all worth it. Yatzel took the time to take pictures through out the hike so we could just live in the moment. After the hike he recommended a fantastic restaurant with beautiful views. I will be back and will book another one of his tours. Thank you so much Yatzel!

5.00I rated this tour excellent because our tour leader, Yatzel was so kind and informative. My friend and I would not have been able to completely participate in the hike, if Yatzel hadn’t have been right at our sides to assist in some of the trickier parts of the path. That said, I would caution some participants with joint issues that this hike is not “easy”. We were rewarded with beautiful scenery and the peaceful sounds of a rainforest while reaching our destination, a clean, clear pool. We had adequate time to enjoy this special feature. Then we went back up to our transportation, and on to lunch at Luquillo kiosks, under the tutelage of Yatzels food stall recommendations (so many too choose from). Delicious food and drink and Informative conversations about the history of the area and Puerto Rico followed. We also had time to walk the beach and get our feet wet in the ocean., I would definitely seek out Yatzel for more experiences in the future.
