I did the El Yunque hike and waterfalls tour with my husband. To say the least, the trip was amazing. It was a physically challenging trek but was so much fun and our guides Alana and Julio went above and beyond to make sure every single one of us on the trip, irrespective of our physical capabilities, enjoyed it to the fullest extent. Julio is a powerhouse of information. He gave us tons of information about the rainforest and the flora and fauna in there and also showed us all the fun things to do in the rainforest. He ensured we participated safely in all the water activities. Alana on the other hand was very supportive, she made sure the group was together at all times, encouraged us to participate in our water activities, clicked our pictures whenever we requested them and carried water bottles for us during the entire trek. Also, Arnie, the person who helped me book this trip was very supportive at all times. He was available anytime I texted him for information and provided accurate guidance on the things to do in San Juan. Overall, it was a pleasurable experience and I would book with them again when I visit Puerto Rico.

Don’t bother. Scheduled for Monday. They rescheduled for Tuesday. Then for Thursday. Claimed to have contacted me Wednesday to cancel but I have no email or text, which I had for the first reschedule. Waited for your guide. Never showed. Said the reason for the final cancellation was not enough people. We are family of 4. I would have booked elsewhere.

Our main tour guide was Julio, he made the experience so much better than expected- so if there is any way to request him do it! Julio took the time to teach us about the plants, animals, history, and sounds of Puerto Rico. The other groups were rushing past, loudly, not learning anything. Additionally, when we reached the falls and jumps he helped other groups move through safer & quicker than their guides were, leaving us the spaces to ourselves. We witnessed multiple groups have safety issues, close calls, and one extremely unprofessional guide hurt two people. We never once felt unsafe, even with our children there and doing all the jumps, slides, and climbing. Julio set the standard!
