Isaac was a great tour guide - very friendly and knowledgeable. We did wish that the excursion was a bit more immersive, as the hike was just a short walk through the woods to no significant end or viewpoint - just a relatively small loop. The stops felt somewhat rushed. I would suggest that the stop at the pool be removed and perhaps the hike be longer! The pool stop was only about 20 minutes for us, so a bit too short to be comfortably swimming and hanging out. Nice private spot, but could probably go without. Lunch was good and very good with people like myself who didn’t know what to order or speak any Spanish. Regardless, this is a good activity for those with young kids or older people as it is not very physically demanding. FYI - sneakers are fine, and open toed water shoes like flip flops/sandals are fine (if you plan on getting in water!).

Isaac was amazing! He was so informative and engaging. We went with friends and family including a 3 year old and the tour was the perfect pace for everyone. The food after was delicious. Thank you for showing us around El Yunque, Isaac! Would definitely recommend

We had a nice day. Ingrid was very informative and made sure we were all engaged. Took wonderful photos at our request. Transportation was great and we loved having a private excursion for our family of 12.

Ingrid cared for all on the trip with various mobility issues. She tried to make it enjoyable for all. Stop at road side dinner was authentic experience.

Our guide, Albeny, was very knowledgeable about the cultural history, as well as flora and fauna of the island. He was prompt, picked us up at our hotel and again, dropped us off. He was very responsive in getting back to us via email. Definitely recommend bringing a rain poncho or umbrella.

Isaac was a great guide, pointing out so many different types of plants/trees/etc as well as some snails, bugs and a mongoose on our nature walk as well as along the way, and throughout the trip providing great info about Puerto Rico. He spoke loud enough to be heard throughout the van and was fully fluent in english. Total trip was almost exactly 5 hours. The nature walk was a bit steep in areas and a couple places were a bit slick, but appropriate for pretty much all fitness levels, provided you have full mobility. I would be a little nervous taking an unpredictable toddler due to a couple areas where there was a bit of a cliff that would make me nervous, but I tend to be overly cautious. Aside from that it would be appropriate for all ages - babies in a carrier and children who can be trusted to walk safely. Lunch prices were reasonable - my husband and I shared a plate of yellow rice with rotisserie chicken and beans and had enough leftover for us both to have another meal later and that was only $13. Not quite the best food we had on our trip, but good nonetheless. There were also some souveniers, fresh fruit and convenience store type snacks for sale. The smoothies looked delicious with many flavors but we didn't try them. There was one set of full restrooms where we stopped for our nature walk and porta potties in a couple places along our travels through the rain forest. The restaurant also had restrooms. The swimming area was a natural pool with a small waterfall over rocks and large rocks you could climb, but no jumping areas - about 5' deep in the center with plenty of shallow edges to get your feet wet. The water was pretty cold and there were tons of fish which Isaac brought food to feed them so we got a good closeup look at them. The van was air conditioned and quite comfortable. I believe there were 13 total in our group. When booking, there were quite a few hotels to choose for pickup and we found one just a 10 minute walk from our airBnB. My husband said he would love to do it again. Definitely a good way to explore El Yunque if you're not wanting to spend the entire day in the water.

Issac was great and had a ton of information. The hiking wasn’t too bad and we did have opportunities to stop and see cool things.

Very glad we used the tour service. Trying to rent a car, drive on the narrow roads and find parking would've been a huge challenge. Got picked up at our hotel, did a 2-mile hike, visited the tower, and a creek spot, plus had lunch at a roadside stop. The hike was a bit more strenuous than anticipated for out 80-yo members but we made it with some resting. If you want to swim in the creek, bring water shoes or sandals to wear bc the stones are very sharp. Otherwise great guide and very convenient way to explore the park.

Take a poncho in case it rains. They hike is easy, the waterfall is spectacular, the fish in the river were a treat to see. Ingrid was the BEST guide! So much information...very knowledgeable.
