Each tour is led by a passionate and knowledgeable guide who wants to share his love for the island with you! On this tour, we will walk through muddy trails that are only 1.5 miles long! This popular trail leads through beautiful waterfalls that are natural water slides and pools with crystal-clear water! For the last stop, you will enjoy authentic Puerto Rican food next to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island!

What To Expect
San Juan
To begin our amazing adventure our guide will personally pick up at the travelers accommodation in the metro area. Pickups can be hotels, resorts, residences or airbnbs anywhere in San Juan, Carolina, Loiza, Canovanas, Luquillo, Rio Grande or Fajardo. The day before the excursion, the tour guide will be communicating with the travelers for exact pick up time and other details. This schedule goes from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The earlier we start the better, to avoid bigger tour groups that arrive from other companies.
El Yunque National Forest
Our certified tour guide will lead you through this beautiful hidden gem in the rainforest of "El Yunque" in this area you will explore through the muddy clay trails and the lushes green of the rainforest. We will arrive at Las Tinajas Falls depending on previously scheduled pick up times by your personal tour guide. The hike is about 1.5 miles in total and will take about half an hour to arrive to the first bathing area. The guide will talk about the Taino life in the rainforest, the beautiful plants that grow around and show you the incredible bathing areas hidden in paradise. In these bathing areas you will be able to spend 1-2 hours swimming around, rope swinging into the deep rainwaters, sliding through a natural waterslide and/or jump from a 30 foot cliff! All these things in one incredible area in Puerto Rico. We will stay here until 1-2pm and afterwards stop around in some of the nearby restaurants to grab a bite to eat!

5.00We had an awesome awesome day! From the moment we were picked up, everything was well organized and stress-free. Throughout the tour, Mitchell shared fascinating information about the rainforest, local culture, wildlife, and history, making the experience both fun and educational. Mitchell was so passionate about PR The stop to Luquillo was for lunch and shopping, it’s not a beach trip stop. Also i highly encourage good swim shoes with traction. It would’ve helped me to have that extra support. I Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Puerto Rico. Thank you Mitchell for an unforgettable day in El Yunque!

5.00Andrea was a phenomenal guide who helped us overcome our fears and do some adventurous rock scrambling and rock jumping. Super fun experience overall, though there were a lot of people on the holiday weekend. The visit to Luquillo was also a highlight. I appreciated that we got 10 min to take photos at the beach after eating a delicious meal.

5.00Shaly not only was kind and patient with my two girls ages 10 and 11. She took the best pictures and videos. We had an unbelievable time but now that it’s over we have the best pictures/videos to relive the experience. 5.00Outstanding small group tour the highlight of our trip! We had knowledgeable certified guide Brian from Hidden Excursions PR. Just our family of 5 on the tour. Ride with Brian from hotel in Carolina (transportation included for your tour) to El Yunque on a route only a local would know. It was a privilege to get a sense of the local culture surrounding the rainforest. Exhilarating hike with natural waterslide to waterfalls, through natural tunnels, and opportunity to cliff jump and rope swing. Also learned about flora and fauna. Brian took all the pictures and shared on WhatsApp. Then he took us for a fantastic lunch at Edelweiss on Luquillo beach. Excellent local food and staff very hospitable and welcoming and Brian provided menu recommendations. I had a traditional Mojito and sautéed grouper with creole sauce and mamposteao rice it was fantastic. Highly recommend this tour with Hidden Excursions PR!
