Really great experience and hassle free! I hire an electric bike for me and a regular (non-electric one) for my husband. Bikes we saw and hired were all looking I. Good condition. Really easy to rent and pickup, if you checked their video link prior to arriving on site. Maps on the wall for you to take. Bike lane just down the street and easy to follow to go and do the loop track around the harbour. Renting place in city centre and easy to find (good sign outside) If you want to catch the boat accross and enjoy your ride take the bike for the full day as then you can take it more leisurely and less stressful. Great experience, will rent again

We were on a Princess Cruise and had booked with the Dunedin E-Bike hire company. They were so easy to deal with. The bikes were dropped off for us at Port Chalmers (a 2 minute walk from the disembarking). The information provided was accurate and easy to follow. Now the bikes!! FUN-fast and what a great way to see Dunedin. The shore line snakes around the coast and is breathtaking. We had every kind of weather that day, but those e-bikes took it in their stride. At the end you could choose to drop it off at a number of locations. We dropped off ours at the self-serve. So very easy. Thanks guys for your service and speedy bikes!

Used bikes for 2 full days doing Port Chalmers and the peninsular. Very helpful staff. Bikes easy to use and charge. We had one pannier between the 5 of us. We could take the bikes back and charge them there while we had dinner and our accomodation was happy to lock them up for the night. No problem getting bikes to suit us all and they were easy ro ride even for a beginner. Wonderful way to see Dunedin and penninsular.

The check in process was a little sketchy since there are no people involved. But the biking itself was fantastic. Take the High Ridge. Definitely the High Ridge.

Hired 2 E Bikes and they were great. We had pre booked and it was easy unlocking the bikes and getting under way. We cycled the loop and the bikes were very good . The battery lasts so long. We cycled over 50km and only lost 2 bars out of 5 of battery life. We were riding in mode 1 and 2 for around 20km then thought we can pump it up a bit into the head wind and used mode 3 and 4 for the last 30km or so. Seats were good. We did admittedly have padded cycle shorts on. We would definitely reccomend Dunedin EBike hire to anyone looking to hire bikes to cycle around Dunedin.
