A Pedego Electric Bike is the best way to experience all that Amelia Island has to offer. A Pedego is just like a regular bike - only better. You can pedal normally (or not) and get power when you want it. It feels like being a kid again!

Note: All participants must be able to ride a bike. You will need to certify before departure that you have safely ridden a bike in the last 5 years.

What To Expect
Big Talbot Island State Park
During this tour, we ride down 7 mile’s of Amelia Islands designated bike path, over the George Crady Bridge, and into Big Talbot Island where we do a little trail riding down to the beach for a ride along the sand (if tide levels permit). The power of the bike makes the our trek through the sand easy-breezy. This tour provides a taste of Amelia Islands’ natural beauty and wildlife as we bike through moss-laden live oaks, along natural waterways, and on coastal paths. On the way back, riders have the option to stop at the Shops of Amelia Island for some refreshments prior to returning to the Pedego Store. *Optional stop subject to bike availability
Note: All participants must be able to safely ride a bike and will need to certify that they have ridden a bike safely within the last 5 years.

4.00While it ended up being a most delightful ride, the first 30 minutes was unorganized and it took way too long to get us on the road. But it is definitely a fabulous ride and the bikes were in excellent shape.

4.00It was our first time on the e-bike which they explained how to operate very well. The tour was good, enjoyed the trails and rode on the beach which was awesome. Wish it was longer. It was a little less than two hours but did enjoy it. Wish we would have visited this cafe that we were told about but our tour guide passed it so we didn’t get to visit that. Overall it was good but just barely two hours

3.00First of all I will say I am glad that I experienced this; however, I would like to offer some constructive criticisms. #1. I was hoping for a more leisurely ride and taking in the sights-nope, rushed all the time. #2. Equipment such as seats tightened down should be inspected before customers ride them. #3. Rides through Construction areas invites flat tires from rogue nails on the road #4. Future obstacles should be known by the tour guide (down trees, flooding across the path, etc) and not let it be discovered by the customers. This whole trip was chaotic. Other than that the weather was beautiful, but I was disappointed that we never got to ride that road where we could see how fast these bikes could go (the thrill seeker in me) I suggest the tour guide poll the group and what they want their experience to be in order to achieve customer satisfaction.
