We lucked out with some beautiful weather for the Sunday afternoon guided tour. Jesse and Tyler were cheerful and fun and knew a lot about the local flora and fauna, telling us interesting facts about the mysterious lichen swaying in the breeze from the tangled oak branches. We talked about lizards, wild boars, quails, geology, beetles, and many different plants. They were both very knowledgeable and inspired curiosity and wonder about this unique place called the Elfin Forest. We enjoyed some good tasting snacks in a peaceful patch of fairytale trees and even took a moment to just quietly take it all in.
