My son and I went on this trip and it was awesome. The tour guide was great and knowledgeable. When we got to Elmina Castle, we got another tour guide who was AMAZING! So knowledgeable and answered any questions. It was an emotional day listening to how the Europeans enslaved Africans for financial gain and this was the port of NO RETURN. We also visited the Cape Coast Castle which was also interesting with another amazing tour guide. I would definitely recommend this, it is an all day affair, but filled with a sad history which hopefully will never be repeated!
