Absolutely unforgettable experience—easily one of the highlights of my time in Da Nang. Exploring the Son Tra Peninsula by motorbike was incredible in itself, with stunning coastal views, winding jungle roads, and a real sense of adventure. But what truly made the tour exceptional was our guide, Leo. He was outstanding from start to finish—friendly, professional, and unbelievably knowledgeable about the area and its wildlife. Leo has an incredible eye for spotting the red-shanked douc langurs. I honestly don’t know how he does it—he seemed to pick them out effortlessly from dense forest where I would have seen absolutely nothing. Thanks to him, we were able to stop at several points and observe these beautiful, endangered monkeys up close (but respectfully from a distance), using binoculars he provided. Seeing them in their natural habitat was such a special and rare experience. What really stood out was how passionate Leo is—not just about showing tourists something cool, but about the conservation of these animals and educating others about them. He shared fascinating insights about their behaviour, the challenges they face, and the importance of protecting the peninsula. It made the whole experience feel meaningful, not just exciting. The pace of the tour was perfect—plenty of time to stop, take everything in, and enjoy the surroundings without feeling rushed. Riding on the motorbike felt completely safe, and it added such a fun, immersive element to the whole day. If you’re in Da Nang, I can’t recommend this experience enough. And if you can, ask for Leo—he genuinely made this something I’ll remember for a long time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

That was the best thing I did in Da Nang! It was incredible to see these monkeys in their natural habitat, to watch their families, interactions, how they eat. The places we drove through were also amazing, especially in sunset light😍 Thanks a lot to my guide Cillian who showed me the monkeys and told a lot about them. It was unforgettable

Very nice experience with Cillian and Leo as our guides. They were right on time in the morning. They drove us safely on their motorbike and knew the right spot and time to see the red shanked douc langurs. The binoculars they lended us were good ones too. They gave us information about the monkeys and their behaviors. Cillian was really good to spot them, and Leo had his camera to take better pictures (some in this post come from his). I strongly recommend booking with them. We had to come back at a specific time and they were right on time for that also. Thank you for the great time in the nature with you and the monkeys ! :)

We had a wonderful trip with Tang and Alan to the Son Tra Peninsula. Our three guides took us on an incredibly cool tour by motorbike. After a short initial stop with information, fruit, and water, we set off. We were very lucky and were able to observe four groups of these beautiful animals. It was absolutely fantastic. Allan and Thang kept us constantly informed about the animals and their habitat. We felt completely at ease. Thank you so much!

We were with a young child and were a little nervous about going with scooters because of that so they were able to arrange a car for a little extra cost, which we found well worth it for peace of mind. Our guide Cillian was very knowledgable and friendly. He was able to find three different groups of the monkeys throughout our tour, giving us plenty of opportunity to observe them. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves nature and wants to see these beautiful creatures!

As we are heading into the summer months, we knew the odds of finding the langurs would be lower so we went I to this not expecting much. They went above and beyond to try and locate the langurs so I could see them (the main reason we were in Son Tra). We ended up seeing two different family groups of these beautiful animals. It was a highlight of our trip. They also picked us up from our hotel on Son Tra so we didn’t have to go into Da Nang just to come back to Son Tra which was wonderful.

Seeing wild douc langur monkeys was a fantastic experience. Our guide Cillian was friendly and knowledgeable and didn’t rush us when we spent ages transfixed by these amazing creatures. Thought at first we weren’t going to see any but eventually his patience paid off. A unique and memorable experience.

Wow , just wow. My guide Cillian (monkey boy :)) was amazing. I exceed weight limit for moped so i got in car instead, we SAW THE MONKEYS, and for me that’s the main thing, we saw them, we sat by them and watched them , we took incredible photos, and were made to feel so comfortable. The knowledge cillian had on the monkeys was remarkable, teaching us about the monkeys day to day life and other fun facts, 10/10 experience, side note: we also saw other monkeys too aside from Red shank douc, we saw macaques! brilliant views as well, our driver was also proffesional. thank you Cillian for a unforgettable day

I highly recommend this unique tour! Leo was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable about the mountain, langurs and the region in general. Travelling by scooter along the mountain tracks in the early morning, looking for the extremely endangered langurs was such a special experience. And we were so lucky to see 5 family groups throughout the morning. Leo took some amazing photos which he kindly shared after. 10/10, highly recommend for anyone who wants to escape the busy city for a few hours and enjoy a tour that’s off the beaten track. It’s so worth it!

Amazing trip finding the langurs, with Alan and team as excellent, knowledgeable and friendly navigators to find these beautiful creatures. We stopped in a few places and found quite a few langurs. They look surreal in their beauty.
