Embark on the fascinating world of our most endangered primates, off the beaten track and away from the tourist traps. In an easy, 3 hour-adventure, across twisting mountain road, scenic terrain, we will go into secret spaces that only the Red-Shanked Douc Langurs aka Rare Monkeys know. From encountering sprightly off-springs during breeding-season (March to July) to seeing the adults or alpha male, or just to enjoy the sight of monkeys being monkeys, you’ll learn how to tell a "she" from a "he", how to tell their age, and also participate in real-time research by helping to collect data about the monkey we encounter. We will meet a supporting cast of forest creatures; birds, colorful butterflies, plants, or sometimes mongoose. On the trail we travel, I'll find chances to have a conversation with local animal photographers. We can hear the insights and see their amazing photos from them for a better understand of the monkey . Not only we go finding rare animals but also have opportunity to see an amazing hidden sceneries of Monkey Mountain, secret beach, altogether will combine to make our trip full of surprises. Our journey ends where we start.

It was great, I went two days in a row, first in the afternoon and then in the morning, both days I managed to see the red-footed Langur thanks to my excellent guide Cillian. The second day was a more personalized outing with a stop earlier to appreciate the activity of fishermen and fish sellers on the beach. Super recommended. The energy of the guide is amazing and his Capacity (in covers) to find the monkeys amazing.

Bao and Brandon were our guides.and they have done a marvelous job. Organization was excellent, they did find the animals and were very respectful in the observation to avoid disturbing them while ensuring sightings. They were knowledgeable and provided very good information. Cannot recommend it more, worth time and money

Tam's team is super professional, fun and friendly. We joined their trip today and enjoyed it very much! There was some rain today but it didn't stop them spotting the 10 langurs in the forest. We saw monkeys eating, jumping, mother monkey and babies. All of this would be impossible with their sharp eyes. Our guides saw the monkeys, stopped the motorbike and then taught us how to focus. Even my mum, someone who's not interested in animals, got really excited and was happy in the end. I would highly recommend anybody to join their tour, because langurs are rare and not readily available else where, and more importantly, you would be garanteed with a wonderful trip with amazing guides. Come check out these beautiful creatures with them, while enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean from the mountain.

One of the coolest tours I’ve done in Vietnam! I was lucky and saw a lot of the langurs that day. The mountain was beautiful to explore by motorbike. Someone told me they came to Da Nang just to visit this mountain, and now I see why. Half of the world’s endangered langurs are here in Da Nang, it’s a very special chance to see them. My tour guide Brandon also took me to see the fisherman’s village and explained the history of the basket boats. He works in conservation so he knew a lot about the langurs and where to find them. I’m really glad I did this tour, it’s my favorite in Vietnam so far.

We want to thank Brandon, Alan and the team for the great experience! During the tour they were very social, told and explained us a lot about the culture in Da Nang and the animals. It was a very personal tour in a small group and we got to capture a great amount of monkeys in an area which we otherwise would've never found on our own. Thank you for this great experience!

The monkeys are a must-see if you visit Da Nang. What a treat to see them in a beautiful area new the city and watch the sun get low over the bay. The monkeys are fascinating to watch. Even if we hadn’t had the good fortune to see 3 different groups, including one family of about 15 including 2 babies, the ride through the jungle on the back of a motorbike would have been worthwhile. It’s a bonus that the temperature in the mountains is about 20 degrees fahrenheit cooler than the city, so it’s a lovely break from the heat. Brendan was a fantastic guide, and the entire group were so knowledgeable. We learned all about the monkeys and their habitat. I could have watched the monkeys all day!

We had an amazing experience! It was the most fun memory we had! They explained to us what they didn't know in an easy way, and we were very relieved to have a helpful staff! When I visited Da Nang again, I wanted to join this tour! I was also interested in understanding biodiversity, and wanted to learn more about it in the future!
