In Naha, the adventure is yours to choose — we can go anywhere you like! Stroll down Yachimun Street, where local pottery shops invite you to explore Okinawa’s unique ceramics. Learn about Shisa, the traditional guardian lions that watch over homes and streets, and discover their stories. Whether it’s a bustling market, a quiet alley, or a hidden café, we’ll explore the heart of Naha, capturing fun, natural photos along the way. Tell me your favorite spots, and let’s make this tour completely yours — relaxed, playful, and full of memories!
Shurijo Castle Park
Shuri is to Okinawa what Kyoto is to mainland Japan — the heart of its history and culture. At the center stands Shuri Castle, once the royal palace of the Ryukyu Kingdom. While its history is powerful, Shuri is much more than the castle itself. As we explore the area, we’ll wander through hidden stone stairways, some so beautiful they could be counted among Japan’s top historic steps, and visit local spots where traditional Okinawan foods are still enjoyed today. This tour isn’t just about sightseeing — it’s about discovering a deeper side of Okinawa. Relax, enjoy the walk, and in between the moments, we’ll capture natural, fun photos that reflect the atmosphere of Shuri and your journey through it. Step off the typical tourist path and experience the real Shuri, where history, daily life, and unforgettable moments come together.

Yugo was so accommodating! We had a very new, clean, comfortable vehicle. We spent a bit more time at one point and he was able to coordinate that and not miss anything we wanted to do. He spoke good English and we learned a lot about his family and history as it related to the war and our US- Okinawa relations.

This experience is very customizable to your interests. Yugo is very accommodating and proposes the best spots to visit to make your experience the most enjoyable. We very much enjoyed visiting special Okinawan sites within the time available to us. Yugo picked us up from the cruise port and accompanied us to places we wanted to visit. Born and raised in Okinawa, Yugo had great knowledge of the area. We highly recommend this tour.

We had an amazing full-day tour with Yugo in Okinawa and it was definitely one of the highlights of our Japan trip! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the day feel very relaxed and personal. We traveled to northern part of the island. We had a lot of fun, saw some breathtaking views and were able to take some really nice photos. We could enjoy everything at our own pace which was great. All the places he's taken us to were so nice - exactly what we had in mind. We wanted to see nature and experience a more cozy, local atmosphere and that's exactly what we did. the place with authentic okinawan food that he chose for us was the best. SO tasty. We did have to pay for fuel and highway but we were expecting it, since it was written in the tour description. In general definitely worth the price. For this kind of experience I wouldn't be surprised if it was more expensive. Definitely recommend this tour and Yugo as a guide and a photographer!
