If you are going on this tour, please make sure that your guide is Nizam from Selcuk! He is a local, very knowledgeable about the region’s history and most importantly, Nizam is able to share that with others in a fun and digestible fashion. There was not a single moment when we were bored or tuned out. Nizam has a great personality, a phenomenal network of people that he knew at each of the sites. I am especially grateful to Nizam as my wife slipped and hurt her ankle on the tour despite taking all the caution of walking on a marble pathway. For the balance of the tour, Nizam went out of his way to ensure that she could periodically rest in the shade without compromising the tour for the rest of the group. He handled everything so gracefully and made sure that we didn’t miss any of the sites/experiences as a result of the injury. He did this through his network of local friends who offered my wife a chair to rest, an ice pack, and even suggested where we could get some remedy. All in all, this was my favourite tour guide and we have taken many tours in many different countries. Ephesus, Sirince & Selcuk are a must see and I am glad that we could fit it in our itinerary. Thank you, Nizam..

Great guide! Neziem was a great guide. He was funny and knew a lot. You get picked up in inzmir without him and then you pick him up closer to the site. He clearly was passionate about the tour and his enthusiasm made me more excited about what we saw. We did see a rug making demonstration which was cool then the sales pitch was a bit annoying. But overall a great tour.

Extremely beautiful and interesting site, a must see if you are in this part of the world. Nisam was a great guide giving us a lot of history and context for what we were seeing. House of mother mary also interesting and a beautiful and serene space. Definitely recommend doing this when in Izmir
