You are transported by the dunes, the nomadic life. Depending on the season, you may meet nomadic families who live a Bedouin life. After your arrival, beautiful sunset at the big dunes, sandbord. Possible Camel ride,
At night Berber music around the fire, overnight in the camp, next morning after breakfast drive back to Mhamid.

What To Expect
M'Hamid
Our overnight in Mhamid Desert starts in the afternoon on the back of the camels deeply in a beautiful part of the Sahara; After you arrive at the dunes, you will enjoy a beautiful sunset: dinner, local music, and night in a Berber camp under the nomad tents.
This morning, get up for sunrise at the camo, after breakfast enjoying the beautiful dunes, then drive back to Mhamid. Arrive around 10h00

5.00It was just beautiful. Great organization from the first minute. We would welcome us family members and have spent a wonderful time in the Erg Chegaga. With camel ride into the magnificent sunset on a dune.Our guide took care of us like family members starting from excellent lunch in a palm oasis to dinner, music in the evening. We would book again and again at Saharasteps.

5.00We booked a one night desert experience. Half a day we rode camels and went a bit into the desert. After cooking great lunch for us we got by car deeper into the desert where the big dunes are. We spent a night in a great desert camp. The food was very good and all the people were friendly. The big dunes are very beautiful and a must see! We also spent a night in the regular Mhamid desert camp. It was also very nice and beautiful!

5.00We got picked up by Hassan who showed to be an excellent guide. Friendly and patiently he explained, answered our questions and gave us surprising detours, like looking for fossils. Best: never pushing and atent what we wanted or not.Also the guy who was at the Bivak was a pleasant person. Hassan loves his desert, he picked up plastic on the way and even argued with others who had thrown their rubbish out of the car. Not to forget: the camel ride on the dunes and the stars in the night: unforgettable.
