Elisabeth is a lovely guide and very welcoming! The horses are very amenable and would suit beginners. It would have been nice to have a slightly longer ride/more varied trail, so if experienced I would recommend the longer day rides. Still enjoyed it and would recommend if you have time when visiting Sofia. 🙂 Also to note, no need to worry about helmet or riding boots. Chaps and helmet provided if needed!

We met with the guide outside our hotel to reach the starting point of the walk together. The drive was pleasant: we got to talk and get to know each other and thus to live the walk in tune later. Before getting in the saddle they left us some time with the horses, to get to know them and make us known, after which they explained the basics for a correct riding setup, so that the mount could be as comfortable for us and for the horses. During the walk the more experienced riders were left free to gallop where the terrain lent itself, with some precautions regarding the individual characters of each horse. We then made a long stop to feed the horses: this time was used by the guides to take many souvenir photos and record videos. Once we got back on track, they explained that all the routes are designed to allow the horse to experience nature as it would in the wild: we were not forbidden to let them eat from the surrounding plants and grass, to let them get close to each other, both during the stops and during the walk, to leave the line to make them walk at their own speed and let them explore the flat area without losing sight of the group. At the end the whole experience was suitable for experts and beginners, without limiting the experts, avoiding making the walk boring, and without abandoning beginners, among whom the most insecure were flanked by a second guide who helped them carry the horse via a rope. The organizers of the event thought of everything: water, helmets, gaiters and gloves. Booking the 17:00 walk we were able to watch the sunset from the hill, not suffer the heat even wearing long pants and closed shoes and return to the hotel before 21:00. Surely this is the right place if you are looking for an experience that respects both people and animals and, above all, does not see animals only as a source of income.

Best memory in Bulgaria 🇧🇬 The scenery was so wonderful and it was a place I longed to be, so it is a great memory. The horses were friendly, smart and very easy to ride! I love to run with horses, so I'm very happy! They have different courses, so I'd love to go again!!!

Fantastic experience on well-trained, well-loved horses! We are experienced riders with years of having our own horses, and often on trail rides like this, the horses go head to tail, plodding at a walk. We are usually itching to let our horse trot or canter, but that is rarely allowed. Our guide, Elisabeth, encouraged us to trot and canter, and the horses willingly did so. There were four in our group, and three of us could ride well, but with Elisabeth's instructions and pairing of the new rider on a lovely, mannerly mare, we all got to safely put the horses through the paces. On our three-hour excursion, we rode across meadows to the top of a hill, overlooking a beautiful lake, with a centuries old tiny chapel that is still a popular spot for local pilgrimages today. We had a lunch break there before riding back. If you get to ride Atlas, a stout little bay gelding (my mount), or Huron, a big paint gelding (my husband's mount), give them a hug for us.

I had an unforgettable time! Elizabeth is a wonderful guide – kind, patient, and very professional. The horses were calm and well cared for, and the nature around us was just beautiful. I felt safe and free at the same time. It was more than just a ride – it was a magical moment I will always remember. Thank you, Elisabeth, for this amazing experience! I highly recommend it to everyone!
