These experiences didn’t just show us the city—they made us feel its essence, its soul, and its timeless beauty. The South Walk took us through the cultural and spiritual heart of Varanasi, weaving through narrow alleyways filled with history and life. The Sunrise Boat Tour was mesmerizing, watching the ghats awaken with chants, prayers, and the golden glow of the rising sun. The North Walk offered a deep dive into the city's ancient heritage, while the Food Walk was an explosion of flavors, introducing us to the authentic taste of Banaras. Each experience was thoughtfully curated and brought to life by our incredible storyteller, Anupam, whose storytelling made history, traditions, and hidden gems come alive. Roobaroo Walks provided a perspective of the city I had never seen before, making me fall in love with Varanasi in a way I never imagined. 5.00Came across Roobaroo walks by chance and a walking tour with them I was told was the best way to get to know Kashi …. Please note the difference, it’s not see and explore the city but to get to know it The walk with our story teller Anupam left me and our group simply mesmerised ! It was amazing how he introduced us to the Culinary history and current trends , historic and mythological stories , evolution of the city from mythical times to now spanning thousands of years , relevance of architecture and people and monuments and shrines , faith and reverence and what it meant to the past dwellers and current Thank you Anupam for introducing us to the spirit and of Kashi , Varanasi , Banaras …. The spiritual epicenter for devine connection as it is known as Your knowledge , passion , enthusiasm and spirit is unbelievable We loved the food, enjoyed the tea break , the drinks (non alcoholic ! ) were amazing , the stories and the serendipity experiences you crafted were the cherry on top 🙏🏻 Shetall

5.00The heritage walk with Anupam was an absolute delight! He was incredibly knowledgeable, weaving together captivating stories of the city's mythology, spirituality, historical background and geographical insights. He took us through temples, bazaars, fragrant flower market, ghats, and charming eateries offering delicious local delicacies which we wouldn't have known otherwise. The walk was thoroughly enjoyable. Anupam patiently answered all our questions staying beyond the allocated time of the tour. Thank you for being so generous! I highly recommend it to anyone interested in immersing in Varanasi's soul and energy.

5.00We had an amazing experience with the Varanasi walking tour + sunset boat and the Street Food Tour with Roobaroo. Our guide Anupam was very knowledgeable, friendly, and open to our questions. We came away with a much deeper appreciation of Varanasi, the history, culture, and food, and that made our trip so much more special. Tours were well-organized with great communication before too. Highly recommend!!!

5.00We took two walking tours with Anupam (north and south), and wouldn’t think twice to go on the next with him. Mom and I visited varanasi in December and had a fabulous experience listening to many stories Anupam had to offer. It was a private experience for the most part and he tuned it to our needs and asks. He was courteous, and really took care of my mom when she had moments of mobility issues, which I was grateful for. His deep love for the city shone through his narration. We enjoyed the balance and amalgamation of mythology and history. Ultimately he left us to want more. Also something to note, we wanted to try few foods along the way (if at all possible), with the idea of paying for them ourselves, however he made sure of not just taking us to the rt spots but took care of the payments. This is a rare feat… wasn’t a food tour to make it inclusive… We highly recommend Anupam and Roobaroo Walka for yours walking tour experience in Varanasi.

5.00We had the most amazing experience with Roobaroo Tours, highly recommend!! Anupam, our tour guide, was absolutely outstanding. His deep knowledge of Banaras and its history was remarkable, and his storytelling skills brought the city's rich culture and traditions to life. His patience and willingness to answer every question made the tour even more enjoyable, and you could feel his genuine love for the city in every word he spoke. A special mention to Tulika, who curated our itinerary with a personal touch. She ensured every detail was perfect. Thanks to both of them, our time in Banaras was unforgettable. Highly recommended!

5.00The tour guide, Anupam Singh was simply superbly informed and motivated to impart as much information as possible to me. He was patient, perceptive, thorough and thoughtful. He let me have my time with the places where I needed more time to experience the vibes and energy. He was knowledgeable and passionate about sharing Varanasi 's history. Although it was a bit on the pricey side, I would highly recommend this tour.
