Excellent self guided tour. So easy to set up and use, brilliant that it can be paused along the way. Very interesting information that appealed to us and our teenagers. Good value for money.
Using the other railway line into Whitby was a big success.

We came in to Whitby on the Middlesborough train joining at Castleton Moor at around 11.00. We left Whitby at 16.00 for the return. It was charming and scenic. This line is a lot cheaper than from Pickering, except without any steam engines.

Only went for the day this time had a fabulous lunch at Marine the sea food platter excellent. Whitby is a charming sea side town with many good shops and bars.

First time to use this type of app and found it very easy to use. The narrator was excellent, both informative, light hearted and easy to listen to. The whole package is excellent with the ability to pause and rejoin the tour or to listen to the commentary away from the tour to remind yourself about certain facts or stories. Highly recommended and would use similar tours again.

Found the app very easy to use. Tour was a really good way of seeing interesting points in Whitby as we have never been before. We had a good couple of hours as didn't rush it. Would definitely recommend.

Was great to walk at own pace and have an individual tour by some who knew the local area and history. As the tour used your allocation you could stop and look around and when you moved on the tour continued. Very easy to follow as directed where to go with very clear directions. Very enjoyable

what a AMAZING experience this was… i’m so glad we decided to take this tour… it really was a inspiring insight into whitby. we was still talking about it the next day and reciting bits we had learnt. i’d definitely recommend anyone to to this at the start of their stay in whitby… it was very easy to follow. a great way to explore the sights
