Myself and two friends had a fabulous food tour in Durham with TripleA. Our tour guide (Julie) was super at organising us, sharing very interesting local historical information and adapting to the situation (it was quite cold outside and she made sure we were not exposed for too long without missing anything). The venues were varied in terms of cuisine and decor which was great. The food was amazing with lots of lovely small plates to share and all venues had unique qualities in terms of their historical and architectural nature. The only improvement we could suggest would be a less one dimensional dessert as whilst the trio was lovely, it was all cake based. Having said that, the whole day was amazing and we are already looking at which tour we will do next with TripleA. Thank you to TripleA and our lovely guide Julie from Sam, Claire and Nicola

Had the most wonderful afternoon in Durham. Julie our food tour guide was amazing & very informative. There was 8 of us on this afternoon food tour & each & every one of them were excellent company. The restaurants we visited were really good & everyone who served us were so friendly & professional. I tried lots of food & drinks that I hadn't tried before and loved them, also had food & drinks that I hadn't previously enjoyed, but loved on this tour. All in all an excellent afternoon .

Its hard to know where to start. We arrived for the tour on a wet, miserable rainy day in Durham. As soon as we met with Sharon, our guide, the weather was the last thing occupying our mind for the remainder of the tour, it was so good. The mixture of exceptional artisan food, quirky entertaining hosts, particulalry Market Hall Wines - a must if you're ever in Durham, our wonderful host Sharon - it could have been blowing a winder gale and we wouldn't have noticed. We were extertained to a blend of heritage culture, wines (and a beer and a shot of whiskey!), amazing food in a majestic setting - it was simply wonderful. We were there with 2 friends and another couple joined the tour, making 6. We all got on really well, which helps, and Sharon was the conduit bringing the perfect blend of guidance, knowledge and space that provided the perfect atmosphere for us to get to know one another. We will be doing all the other tours (my wife has already done the Granger Market tour which was equally exceptional), and no doubt doing them again. Hats of to Triple A Tours and looking forward to new experiences in the future.
