Peter is an amazing guide. Super friendly and knowledgeable. We god a great “crash course” in Durham’s history. Including interesting information about its planning, building, architecture, military and cultural history, and current college life. The tour included a lively walk through the city, along the river, in to the city chambers and—of course into the stunning cathedral. Peter regaled us with tales of invading Scots, diminutive violinists, and several local ghosts stories. We ended the tour in a great pub with a great pint and Peter’s great company.
