Walk with a former EU insider and professional comedian through stately parks, ample boulevards, and imposing official buildings and learn about the history of the European Union, the roles of its main institutions, and the behind-the-scenes work of bureaucrats, journalists, and lobbyists.

5.00Do it! Dani is an excellent guide, engaging and well-informed. You’ll come away understanding a bit more about how the EU functions (it’s quite complicated) and having seen where some really important stuff gets done. I’m so glad I made the effort to go even thought the weather really wasn’t on our side!

5.00This is a fantastic tour that I HIGHLY recommend if you’re interested in politics at all. Dani was an outstanding tour guide. It was incredibly informative (especially as an American who knew very little about the EU politics prior to this tour). Dani presented all the information in a very balanced and humorous way and I really appreciated his perspective as a former lobbyist. The tour included a good balance of history and current events. This was my favorite tour (of three) that I took while in Brussels and I can’t recommend it enough!

5.00It was a very good visit, I highly recommend it! It's a great way to understand how the European institutions work. The guide is very instructive and manages to make the explanations funny. You also learn a lot about the day-to-day life of those who work in the institutions, with lots of anecdotes.

5.00I joined Dani in his tour in November 2024, and as a young person wanting to approach the European world and wanting to learn something more, I can say that I really found what I was searching for! The tour was full of curiosities, questions, history, discoveries and humor, that explained from a former worker in the European Union, really let you dive in the massive mechanism of the EU. Dani was really available and prepared with questions, he really found ways to keep such a heavy subject, so light and funny, also with the use of schemes and jokes!. I would only recommend, as most of the time you stand still, to get dressed with many layers if you plan to do it in this season, because it can get quite freezing, especially if you're not used to it. Weather apart, really recommend, 10/10!!
