What an amazing experience!! The thought that, as an American, we’d ever make it Nepal was really just a dream. This excursion was fantastic! Great weather, great flying, great breakfast!

There is no helicopter pad at Everest Base Camp, and in the off season thee is nothing there at all, nor any view of Everest itself. For that reason the landing is at Kala Palthar, which is the nearest a helicopter can land. The summit is still behind a a couple of other mountains. Everest is flanked by the 4th highest and 5th highest mountains in the world, so if the view of the worlds tallest mountain seems a bit underwhelming, you have to keep in mind the grandeur of the neighboring lofty peaks competing for attention.🙂 There were four solo travelers plus the pilot on the flight up, and that still quite comfortable. A trekker was add on the flight down, and that was uncomfortably crowed for me on the way dow with 4 not so small men in the back seat. That would be my only complaint. Our female pilot Bria was very charming, likable and adept at her job. I very much enjoyed the experience. Make you own sign or banner to take with you, as there Le is none proclaiming where you are at the landing site. All of us confessed to a slight light-headedness at Kala Palthar, but no one found it worrisome enough ask for oxygen. I am 70 and have a reduced left ventricle output from my heart and I did just fine. It was a wonderful adventure!

The opportunity to travel via helicopter through the Himalayas was always a dream of mine. This experience was great but the execution on behalf of the team running it was very poor. The language barrier although English is listed as a language was too strong to effectively relay concerns to the tour operators… to include requesting a refund or giving feedback. Upon arrival to the airport, we were delayed for our trip by an estimated 55 minutes - we never really were notified or told why. There was zero safety protocol or briefings in regards to our helicopter or our trip prior to our departure. Nothing except for a half page illustration on our boarding pass. For a first timer in a helicopter, even an explanation on what to do in an emergency would have been nice. Or what to expect. 0/10. Explanations for why persons were inside the hull/back of the helicopter would’ve been nice during stops instead of considering something was wrong each time. 0/10. Stopping at a destination/hotel for 2.5 hours longer than anticipated/directed in the itinerary after it is too late to request a refund is unacceptable. We were the last group to be picked up. No one could tell us anything from the company we hired. Another person on the helicopter needed to contact their agent to contact them to provide us an update on what was going on. It was 29 degrees at the hotel. The heated area of the hotel was only available to hotel guests. Four other guests & I were forced to sit outside in this weather near where helicopters were landing & taking off for nearly three hours. Very frustrating. Upon arrival to the airport for return to hotel service, we were SO late that my driver was elsewhere. Awesome experience, got some great… once in a lifetime views of the Himalayas & planet Earth too. I’d just recommend doing it with a different agency other than this one - I’m very disappointed that an event/attraction with a price tag equivalent to a plane ticket could be ran so poorly & be so unorganized. Do not recommend this company.

Landing near base camp and having breakfast near Mount Everest. The flight home was delayed for more than 1.5 hours which took some of the fun out of the trip as we stood by the helicopter landing site, waiting with no knowledge of when the helicopter would arrive.
