Mount Everest
You will be picked up from your Hotel in Kathmandu. After a short drive, you will reach the TIA from where the commercial flight takes off. The mountain flight usually lasts from 50 minutes to an hour. There is a variety of options for the flight times. You can choose your ideal time. During the flight, you witness the bewitching beauty of the tallest Himalayas of the world including Everest, Gauri Shankar, and Langtang Lirung. 5.00We took the 1 hour Mount Everest flight from Kathmandu and it was spectacular. The scenery while flying over and beside the Himalayas was like we were in another world. Our guide Nawa Thapaliya and driver picked us up at our hotel and brought us to the airport. Nawa took us inside and did our check in. We had a long wait because of foggy weather. But once we took off, the magic of the scenery made it well worth the wait. Amazing!!

2.00Very disappointed, we arrived at the airport expecting to fly out at 6am. However the flight was delayed by an hour… we were then loaded on a bus and taken to the plane. We waited half an hour on the tarmac before being driven back to the terminal. We had to wait a further 2 hours before being loaded back on the bus, this time we were boarded on the plane but had to wait a further hour until we could take off. We expected to fly at 6am, and flew at 10am. Because of the delay, we missed our afternoon trip. There was no communication from the staff or option to re schedule/cancel the flight. Very disappointed with shree airlines. That being said, the man who picked us up and dropped us off was very friendly, and tried to help as much as possible,but the airline were useless. This is not a reflection of the tour operator, just the airline experience itself.

5.00This trip is weather dependent so book early in stay. Clouds canceled trip on day we booked but our amazing guide immediately rebooked us for a different day. It was amazing. You get a map showing all the peaks and the stewardess comes around and points out which mountain is which. Don’t worry about which side you sit on as you will either see mountains going out or see them coming back - in fact I think we flew closer coming back. Flights are scheduled for 6 am but can’t leave until sunrise and there is visibility at airport so don’t fret about delay. We took off about 7:30
