First fly from Kathmandu airport by an Euro copter 350 B3 Model helicopter to Lukla and a very short time land at lukla to drop the return fuel as they need that when return to Kathmandu. Then continue fly to Pheriche 4200 meters as we need to split the group due to thin air. First we take 3 passengers to the Everest base camp area and then drop them to the Kalapatthar and again pick up the remaining passengers from Pheriche. After the moiuntian flight, we land at Kala Patthar again and allow the passengers to take photos and videos for their lifetime memory. Then fly back to Hotel Everest view and passengers can have breakfast there (optional). Then continue fly back to Kathmandu and we will refill the fuel at Lukla. The trip normally starts at 6:30am, sometime it might be little delay due to the weather condition and air traffic of Kathmandu airport.

The trek was exhaustively planned by Kesh. Given the logistics complexity of this trek Kesh was very proactive in pre-communications about the trek, the number of days, the need for preparation and acclimatisation. Kesh ensured that I had a good guide/porter that was well trained, understood the terrain and most importantly was a great partner on this trek. Even though the EBC trek is very popular, the attention to detail was very helpful in ensuring that the experience was overall positive. Bir (guide) was able to get a sense of my strengths/stamina after the 1st day and modulated his own pace to mine. He was flexible in adjusting to changing the itinerary when we ran into adverse weather. He knew the tea houses on the route intimately and ensured that every evening the dinner and sleeping experience was the best that could be expected in a terrain such as in Nepal. The trek is tough physically and mentally and needs both pre trip training and a strong motivation.

After a few days in Nepal, perfectly organized by Kesh, we decided to finish our trip with the experience of a lifetime: a flight to Mt Everest. Kesh went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience. He was transparent about the cost (not all companies are) and reminded us that it was weather-dependant so it may not work perfectly. But it did! We had an amazing and smooth ride to the base camp, on the first morning we tried to go :)

To complement our tour of Kathmandu and Pokhara, we requested Kesh to arrange a helicopter tour for the four of us to view Mount Everest. Kesh stepped up to the plate and made it happen. Himalayan Mentor caters to your particular interest and is definitely for those seeking out unique travel experiences.
