Most people would adore the opportunity to stand 8,848 meters above sea level on Mount Everest in an ideal world. Realistically, the most of us won't be able to accomplish this! However, if you have good physical condition and a strong will to succeed, you can reach Everest Base Camp! And if you ask me, Kalapatthar offers the most breathtaking Everest views you can see without having to spend weeks slogging up to the summit.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure; it's not a luxury tour.

The type of lodging is a twin-share arrangement. With a nominal fee, access to hot showers, wifi, and power outlets is available. Where else can you have views of the Himalayan mountains from your window despite the apartments not being luxurious?

Fresh Himalayan cuisine is served in the teahouses along the trail.

Good physical condition is necessary. But we'll make sure you've adjusted to the altitude well. On the trek, we advise you to stay well-hydrated and limit your alcohol consumption.

Catch the mountain flight to Lukla, enjoying stunning views of the Himalayas. Meet the Sherpas and begin the trek to Phakding. The mountain flight into Lukla is spectacular and the landing an exciting beginning to the trek – one end of the runway is 60m (197ft) higher than the other. The flight is on a small Dornier / Twin Otter flight and flight duration is generally around 25 – 30 minutes.

Dingboche

We take day off in Dingboche to acclimatize to the high altitude. A popular stop for trekkers and climbers headed to Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, or ImjaTse, there’s a lot to do here. After breakfast take an acclimatization hike to Nagarjun Hill(5100m) that lies close to the village. It is an upward hike with no technical sections. There may be some loose rocks and you may have to watch your step as you scramble on some sections. But no technical climbing is required and apart from the altitude, there's nothing you need to worry about. Named after a Buddhist hermitage that lies on the hill, Nangkatshang or Nagarjun is one of the best viewpoints in the Khumbu region. One can enjoy incredible 360-degree views of Makalu, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Kantega, Thamserku, etc. The best views are of Ama Dablam (one can see the whole mountain, from the base to the summit) and Island Peak. You can also get a close-up view of the Imja glacier from here. You can take rest or stroll around the village.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience in the Himalayas than Accessible adventures! By the time I left Nepal the company felt like a family! ❤️ They provided amazing service, great comms while I was in New Zealand and once we arrived in Nepal they were attentive to us and highly responsive to weather situations that almost meant we couldn’t make the trek - but thanks to Himal and the team we did! The trek to EBC was challenging, beautiful and life changing. I miss it everyday. Our guide, Shiva, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and that things went at our pace. During the whole trek, we always said we were so lucky to have Shiva as our guide and that the trek wouldn’t have been the same without him. I could not recommend this company enough! They made the experience happy and positive and were so wonderful. I miss Nepal and the team at accessible adventures very much! I would pick them again in a heartbeat!!

We did the Everest Base Camp, Chola Pass and Gokyo Ri and it was amazing! The views are all great, but i definitely recommand this agency: we were a big group and they handeled very well the airport transfers, the hotel was great, the porters and guides were very helpful, i liked everything. You can talk to them if you miss any piece of equipment and they are so eager to help you. If you want to do extra activities, they can also help you and you can feel safe and confortable. At the end of our stay they also gave us souvenir certificates, which was a great surprise! Thank you for everything, i will come back for other tours!

Trekking to Everest Base Camp at 5364m was the adventure of a lifetime! From crossing bouncy suspension bridges to sharing stories with my guide, Shiva, and soaking in epic Himalayan views, every step was unforgettable. The altitude tested our limits, but reaching base camp was pure magic. The physical challenge was immense, but the spiritual and emotional rewards were even greater. It was an unforgettable adventure of resilience, beauty, and self-discovery.
