I recently completed Everest Base Camp trek from November 7th until November 25th with my father, and it was truly the best experience of our lives. There was a good turnout, but without excessive queues or crowding. We were completely enchanted by Nepal — its breathtaking natural beauty and the warmth of its people. Mountain Sherpa Trekking & Expeditions was outstanding from start to finish. The team was always attentive, responsive, and supportive. When we needed to revise part of our travel plan, they immediately stepped in and offered the best solutions, always ensuring that we had the highest quality service. We had zero issues during the entire journey and felt extremely well taken care of at every moment. A very special thank you to our incredible Sherpa guide, Mingmar, and our porter, Nigma. They were extraordinary human beings to meet and share this experience with. Their constant support, kindness, and genuine concern for our well-being made all the difference. Always cheerful, high-spirited, and professional, they were absolutely impeccable throughout the trek. We are deeply grateful to have had them with us. We would also like to highlight our city guide, Tandi, who assisted us in Kathmandu. His guidance was exceptional — knowledgeable, friendly, and truly dedicated to giving us the best possible experience in the city. We would love to return to Nepal someday and do more treks with such a professional, caring, and high-quality team. Highly recommended in every way for families, couple or even solo!

Started the dream of hiking into Everest Base Camp by contacting Mountain Sherpa Trekking and Expeditions. They had grest communication before and during the trek. It started with a great itinerary and very friendly greetings from Tandi once I reached Kathmandu. Hotel accommodations were excellent while staying in Thamel. Once the trek started I met my guide Tashi in Lukla and we started my trek. With 3 great aclimitization days built into my trek i had no issues with headaches or loss of appetite. Everything went as planned and we reached Everest Base Camp on Nov 17th. I highly recommend Mountain Sherpa Trekking and Expeditions and they're guides.

This was my second trek with Sumba and PD and it was excellent! What makes them stand out? First- PD was once again an excellent guide. The Renjo La trek is a real physical challenge and I am lucky to have had PD with me. I've done several high altitude treks - both in Nepal and Pakistan- and this was a tough one. He did a fantastic job making sure I got up the mountain and over the pass. Second - and perhaps more important- is the logistics of putting a trek togther in Nepal. Sumba and his team were able to get me on a direct flight to Lukla when most of the other flights were re-routed to a distant inconvenient airport at the height of the trekking season in November. Also - when bad weather closed down Lukla airport on the day of my return to Kathmandu- Sumba scrambled to make sure I had a seat on one of the first flights when the airport reopened the next day. Many others were marooned in Lukla. This is why I continue to rely on them for my trips to Nepal.

My wife and I along with friends recently completed an Everest base camp trip with Mountain Sherpa expeditions. Pasang Sherpa and his team were excellent in their hospitality right from landing in Kathmandu. They were always present to take care of our issues and concerns. Accommodations were the best we could find in Kathmandu and our hiking route. Our guides from Lukla - Mingmar and Pema were knowledgeable and kind. We would like to give special thanks to our porters Pemba and Sonam. The team supported us when the going was tough. It was once in a lifetime experience for us and our friends and Nirvana was only possible because of the excellent guides and porters. "Go Mountain Sherpa"

The Mountain Sherpa Trekking and Expedition team is an awesome team in every way. Mingmar Sherpa and his team were selected for our adventure after reading many great reviews from the past, and wow, they lived up to our expectations with their utmost care, kindness and their willingness to please us. They went above and beyond our expectations. The team leaders were very knowledgeable and capable of handling any and all of the adversities that could have come our way and enabled us to have a successful adventure . A big thanks to the entire team!

This was beyond imagination, the professionalism, and the guidance that was provided by the team was way beyond what we had imagined. From the start from Kathmandu to coming back to Kathmandu, every step of the way, our guides were there standing with us, thick and thin, guiding us holding hands, and helping us the track which would have been difficult if not for our guides and Sherpas. We were a large group and to make sure that each one of us was attended in a personal manner displayed the professionalism of this group

My girlfriend and I did the private ECB trek. Although I generally prefer to hike without a guide service on less crowded trails, at no point was I anything but impressed with the experience and this company. Even before entering the country, Mountain Sherpa was more than accommodating even with some last-minute tour plan changes. Our guide was always pleasant and very knowledgeable and clearly prioritized both safety and customer wishes. They really went out of their way to accommodate any requests, preferences, or concerns we had. I would not hesitate to recommended this company to any friends or family travelling to Nepal, nor would I hesitate to book with them again.

I had the best time doing the 11-day trek to Everest Base Camp! The company did very well with planning the itinerary, after I chose my dates for the trip everything else was quickly taken care of and all my questions were answered before I arrived in Nepal, so I felt prepared for the trip. I had several flight delays along the way, but the Sherpas were very accommodating and flexible, staying up to date on my flights to pick me up from the airport at the right time and moving around the schedule to make sure I had enough time to rest and prepare for leaving Kathmandu to get to Lukla. My local city guide, Tandi Sherpa, was wonderful in welcoming me to the country with a traditional dinner and showing me around while making sure I had all the supplies I needed. He was also there every step of the way in getting to Lukla, and when there were flight delays in Kathmandu, he acted quickly to get me on a helicopter to ensure the trip started on time. Once in Lukla, my guide/porter, Tashi Sherpa, was very attentive and knowledgable. He knew the best teahouses to stop at and made sure I had the best room available. He made sure I was eating enough food and drink (which there were many yummy options for!) each day which is essential while trekking, and made the trek accommodate my pace. He was very knowledgeable about the area, and told me many stories about life there and answered all questions I had about the sights! I enjoyed visiting the monasteries so he made sure we stopped along the way whenever there was one. We ended up pushing to do the Kala Patthar and Base Camp hike the same day, which was amazing and let us have an easier next day. Along the trek, he also knew some detours which got us off the crowded main trail and enjoying the quiet peace of the mountains all on our own. One of my favorite parts was that I had mentioned I would love to see wildlife, and on our way back he stopped and had me climb up a boulder to see wild mountain goats! This was really cool because you couldn't see them from the trail, but he knew where to look. He was also really great at helping me take photos throughout the trek! Once the trek was over, Lukla was experiencing a lot of flight delays, unfortunately. I ended up stuck an extra day on the mountain, but the guide company was very accommodating throughout, and the guides communicated well with each other trying to get the soonest helicopter while talking to companies both in Kathmandu and Lukla. Tashi Sherpa made sure I had time to relax and enjoy Lukla as he dealt with the issues at the airport. Once I finally made it back to Kathmandu, Tandi Sherpa greeted me again and I had extra days to explore the city. Tandi took me to all the famous temples and sightseeing spots, which was super fun! He also put so much effort into making sure I found everything I wanted, including stamps to mail postcards despite there not being a real post office within 1 hour of where we were in the city. Overall, this trip exceeded all my expectations and I felt like I got to experience so much of the culture thanks to my expert local sherpa guides!

My wife and I just finished the 9-day EBC trek with helicopter return, and it was an incredible experience! Our guide, Pema Sherpa, was fantastic. He was very friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable of the local culture in every town we stopped at. Pema was also very attentive to every need we had and made sure to keep the trek at our pace. Our porter, Nima, was also great, he was always helpful and stuck with us the entire trek. He even knew a decent amount of English, which made communication easy and fun. I noticed that compared to other trekking companies along the way, we would always take a more scenic route which we really appreciated (the main path can be quite congested). Lastly, the helicopter return at the end was awesome. All in all I highly recommend Mountain Sherpa Trekking for anyone considering an EBC trek!

We did the 16-day EBC trek with PD and one porter (I’m so sorry I forgot his name but he was amazing!) and we were very well taken care of since our arrival. They are always ready to assist and always made sure that we were comfortable, safe, and well-fed. They were very eager to help whenever I needed it and were also very happy to do it. They always had a smile on their faces even when we’ve had long exhausting days. If we ever come back to do another trek in Nepal, we will definitely book with them again. I am very happy and satisfied with their service.
