The Trek to Everest Base Camp (5340m/17521ft) will be a memory that you will cherish for the lifetime. There can be no trek as rewarding as one to the Everest viewpoint, Kala Patthar (5545m/18193ft) since the world’s highest peak is barely 10km/6 miles from there. The trek in itself is not particularly strenuous as this leisurely trek is designed keeping in mind the slow pace of the first time trekkers. The Everest Base Camp is usually two weeks trek that starts and ends at Lukla Airport (30 minutes flight from Kathmandu International Airport). There is more to the Everest trek than just Everest. While on this exciting trip, we will pass through several of tiny Sherpa villages and through remote valleys, monasteries, roaring rivers, frozen pools of melt water, glaciers and astonishing views of dazzling peaks all on the way before we finally date with the Everest.

Our first trip to EBC was via Chola pass. We could not make it to Kalapathar due to an accident. This time , we signed up with Alpine Club of Himalaya just to make it to Kalapathar. With the professional guidance and motivation of our guides, Santosh and Pemba and helper, Mohindra ,we made to the top .Their guidance was not just about navigating the trail—it was about understanding the mountains, the local traditions, and the importance of every step we took. We are grateful for the stories they shared, the laughs we had, and the way they made sure we felt supported, no matter how difficult the trek became. The memories from this journey will stay with us forever, and they played a huge part in making it such a special experience. The CEO, Sujan Lamichhane, a courteous and well mannered person , handled everything in a professional manner. We are truly grateful for your company’s role in making this adventure unforgettable. We will certainly recommend your services to anyone looking to trek in Nepal. Thank you once again for creating such a fantastic experience.

Initially hesitant about whether I would be able to complete the Everest Base Camp trek, Mr Sujan was very reassuring and offered a lot of support and advice. He was prompt in responding to my (incessant) questions and gave us a guide, Nima, who was very patient and a great cheerleader! During the trek, Mr Sujan was caring and checked in either with me or the guide on how I was doing physically, and whether I was in good health (and spirits) to continue my trek. 😊 Mr Sujan was very resourceful in organising the heli flights out of Lukla to Kathmandu when flights were grounded due to poor visibility. He knew our requirements and was flexible in drawing up a customised itinerary, organise good teahouses, with the help of our guide, Nima, to ensure that our stay was comfortable and cosy. Overall, the trek was more than just physical and mental resilience - it’s a great cultural experience, learning about the Nepalese, and how settlements and communities are established at higher altitudes. Thanks for the wonderful arrangements and making our dream of reaching EBC a reality, Mr Sujan! Special mention of thanks to our guide, Nima Sherpa, who was great company and brought good cheer to our long trek!
