George was fantastic. His knowledge and passion for wildlife, Costa Rica and the cloud forest was incredible. He was super friendly and such a pleasant person. It was nice to hear how it was a family run buisness set up by his father, we were able to see hummingbirds butterfly’s and a quetzal, we also saw a tarantula. But overall couldn’t imagine a better tour guide, George is a credit to his family, to the company and to monteverde

We had the absolute pleasure of touring with Jorge and Jorge Jr., and it was truly an unforgettable experience. They are both incredible people, and their deep love for nature shines through in everything they do. Jorge Jr. is an amazing young guide—kind, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. He has a keen eye for spotting wildlife and shares his insights with enthusiasm and care. It’s rare to meet someone so young who is so dedicated to nature, and it made the experience all the more special. I had the opportunity to do two amazing tours with George of the Cloud Forest, and it was an unforgettable experience. The first was in the Curi-Cancha Reserve, a magical place where biodiversity manifests itself in every corner. With expert guidance from George, we managed to see a sloth resting between the branches, a majestically perched toucan, a mica snake and, most excitingly, the quetzal in all its glory. His deep knowledge and passion for nature made every sighting even more special. At night, I did the Night Tour at El Refugio, and the jungle came alive in a completely different way. Among the many species we saw, a howler monkey sleeping in a tree stood out, plus toucans, snakes and a variety of nocturnal creatures that normally go unnoticed. George made each encounter fascinating with his detailed explanations and enthusiasm for sharing the magic of the forest. If you are looking for an authentic experience with a passionate, patient and expert guide, George of the Cloud Forest is the best option. Highly recommended! Let me know if you want to adjust anything else.

We had an amazing morning of birding with George. It was raining off and on, but George took us to several locations where we saw 50 species, including the Resplendent Quetzal and the Emerald Honeycreeper. His knowledge of Costa Rican birds and where to find them is exceptional. He is also a very personable companion, and is as excited to find uncommon birds as we are. Thank you George!

We had a wonderful morning birdwatching with George. Even though we had rainy windy day, he found us many birds ( about 20 ) . We learned so much about the birds about many plants and trees and are now able to identify the Montezuma Oropendola by it's call. George is fun , passionate about nature and professional.

We are very satisfied with the "bird tour" accompanied and commented by Georges, friendly and passionate about ornithology and the astonishing plants of his country. We were 4 French in a group of 8 and he took the time to explain to us in accessible English the names of the birds and their specificities. Pleasant and smiling, he managed to find a Toucan and a Quetzal in addition to dozens of other colorful birds! We leave with magnificent memories and photos and thank him again
