The name of the event hits the spot. Exclusively at Igor, we not only received the history of regional wine production, but were also allowed to taste 7 wines from its selection. There was also a very tasty selection of Hungarian specialities. The wine cellar is newly renovated and invites you to taste. Igor was a very good guide with a lot of knowledge of the wines. A clear recommendation!

The team have created a really interesting wine and food experience. We were presented with the opportunity to sample eight regional wines with meats and cheeses that complimented the wines. The hosts were crealy passionate about what they were doing and this was mirrored by their knowledge of wine and wine production aross Hungary

Truly 5* experience, what was supposed to be a simple wine tasting with colleagues ended up being an unforgettable team building event! Special thanks to our hosts Igor and David for making this happen. My favourite item from the selection was the Holdvölgy winery, their Vision is an excellent wine and Tokaj has always been close to my heart.

We had the most wonderful experience! We both like wine tastings as we enjoy wine but want to learn a lot more about it, neither of us have had much Hungarian wine before so we were looking forward to it. David and Igor made us feel so welcome, showing us the building and talking us through the history of the local area and the building itself. We could not have felt more at home and they talked us through every wine we sampled, about the winemakers and where it was from/how it's made. The wines were delicious and we had a very generous selection of local nibbles (meats, cheeses, bread etc) which we munched through. They were so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about wine and Hungary, we learned so much and had an absolutely brilliant evening! We have done about 4 wine tastings at different places (cruise ships, in the UK and in Spain/Portugal) and this was hands down the best one yet :D Thank you again for your hospitality!

I recently found myself in Budapest and did not have a planned itinerary. As a lover of wine, I was so happy I found this place on the internet. My boyfriend and I had a great time and consumed amazing wines. I recommend visiting if you find yourself in town!

I would like to share very unique experience at Goldcentral apartments that has been introduced to me as total surprise - wine tasting ! While Budapest at all times represented combination of unique architecture and culture, I have been very fortunate in addition to discover magnificent vines like Gyukli ( Solaris ) and Babarczi Merlot through absolutely implacable presentation. I was able to indulge myself in cozy wine tasting environment that was blending ambiance with flavor simply perfectly all at once…I really appreciated the host Igor’s willingness to share deep knowledge of the regional characteristics of excellent Hungarian wines that has been perfectly paired with my overall cultural enrichment.
