Hosted by a Distillery Ambassador, you'll sample four stunning single cask whiskies chosen for you from the warehouses of our sister distillery in Speyside. You'll then take on the role of the Whisky Maker and learn how to combine and blend these flavours to create your own single malt whisky. A unique creation, which you'll bottle at 200cl to take home, complete with wax seal and label.

What To Expect
'The Residency: Tamdhu' offers unique, behind-the-scenes insight into the world of the whisky maker. This was the most sought-after ticket at the world-famous 'Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival' and we’ve moved it, lock, stock and four outstanding casks, 163-miles south to our award-winning sister distillery, just 30-minutes by train from Edinburgh Waverley and 20-minutes from Glasgow Queen Street. This is a 90-minute whisky experience which includes a short tour of the distillery, followed by an exciting, hands-on activity where you'll produce your very own bottle of single malt whisky to take home. You'll sample four single cask whiskies handpicked from our warehouses in Speyside. You'll be guided through a tutored tasing to understand flavour and each cask’s role in it, and then you'll learn the hidden art of the whisky maker, combining the casks to create your very own Tamdhu Speyside Single Malt Whisky. This is a unique, 'one of one' creation, which you'll bottle at 20cl, with a personalised label and wax seal. The price of the experience includes the 20cl bottle, which is yours to take home.

5.00I had a great day at the Rosebank Destillery with Victor. This event was a gift from my lovely Scottish longterm friends. It was an unique experience I never had before and I got answers for nearly every question. The tasting and making my own Whisky was exceptional. 5.00Would 100% recommend. Our tour guides Claire and Brooke we're very knowledgeable and made the tour enjoyable and interesting , was nice to hear all the Local History. Our tour was 90 minutes long , they had a lift for anyone struggling with stairs bit not to many to climb. At the end of the tour we tasted 3 whisky, and lovely tablet too , made local, if driving they give you a small glass container to take away. We also got 15% discount for buying the lovely Tamdu whisky in their lovely gift shop.

5.00What a fabulous tour. Our tour guide was Brooke who was articulate and informative and led us round the distillery with ease - aided by Jack. A lot of money has been spent on the building and it shows - very impressive. The tasting was a great end to the trip but the highlight was paying the extra to taste the world winning Rosebank whisky ! Fab-u-lous - cheers 🥃
