What To Expect
Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit)
We will start with the visit of the famous Golden Buddha, which with its more than 5 tons makes it the heaviest solid gold statue in the world. It is located in the Temple of Wat Traimit, in the heart of the Chinatown of Bangkok.
The Grand Palace
We will go to see the grounds of the Grand Palace, former royal residence and today important center of celebrations and important events. The Royal Palace was built by King Rama I in 1782. The enclosure has several buildings including the renowned Temple of the Emerald Buddha, also known as Wat Phra Keo. In it you can see the famous sculpture of Buddha, 48.3 cm, made in a single piece of jade of emerald color, incalculable value and great beauty.

5.00It was a good idea to contact SIAMTRAILS to make our trip to Thailand and Cambodia. From the outset, communication has been smooth and we have been assisted in what we have proposed quickly and consistently. Although the dates and all the destinations we wanted didn’t fit the fixed options, we were able to make some changes with ease. When at first I saw that the payments had to be well in advance I had my doubts because it was an internet company, without physical support near me, but I decided to trust and I have to say that everything has been shot. I am pleased with the result, the hotels and transfers have been phenomenal and highlight the effort of Tim, our Guide in the North, to make us know your country better, as well as point out how well everyone who has accompanied us is doing. I would repeat with the organization and for future Trips to the area, I will take them into account for sure.
