Gracanica Monastery
Beautiful Monastery of Gracanica was built in 1321 and is part of UNESCO list. Almost 700 years, active church and well preserved frescoes and portraits. About 20 nuns live in the complex of the monastery.
Patriarchate of Pec
The oldest orthodox monastery in Kosovo built in XIII, with nice maintained garden, composed by four unique churches, thousands of frescoes and portraits.

5.00Definitely a highlight of our Balkans trip. Exquisite frescos. Unbelievable. Bekim is an amazing tour guide. So knowledgeable. Not only in what we were seeing but also general background and history of the region. We really enjoyed our time with him.

4.00Our guide seemed quite professional, he explained interesting facts about the culture and history of Kosovo. He could have explained a bit more about the medieval frescoes in the monasteries. We did not have the occasion of having lunch but that was not really a problem since the excursion ended at about 3 pm. We also got the possibility to visit the ethnographical museum of Pristina.
