Listen as your local guide shares the meaning behind new and old Danish holiday traditions like ancient traditions that date all the way back to the Yuletide traditions of Viking times.
Enjoy several local Christmas treats like mouthwatering Æbleskiver, gingerbread hearts or another cake treats. Warm up with a Copenhagen’s best gløgg, and sip on julebryg, Christmas beer with a notorious local reputation.
Try Danish Christmas tradition firsthand, as you finish your tour with a fun game played by all Danes every Christmas (remember to bring small gifts for this).

After we meet and ensure that everyone brought small presents for the Christmas game we start the tour by goin in to Copenhagen's first street food market where we will have our first taste of Danish Christmas.
Church of Our Lady - Copenhagen Cathedral
We will walk by the Copenhagen Cathedral and let you in on the meaning of religion in the Danish Christmas and how this might differentiate from other countries' Christmas
What‘s Included
We will try a few Danish Christmas treats along the tour
Christmas beer (non-alcoholic alternative is available). And Danish Gløgg.

5.00I did a tour with Mie & Friends a couple of years ago, so when I came back this Christmas and the the opportunity to join their Christmas tour, it was a no brainer for me. I LOVED everything about this tour: The atmosphere, the stories (and the fun way they have connected the viking history to the current Christmas!), the treats and the little game at the end - thank you for another great experience. I hope to come back to Copenhagen and catch even more of your tours one day.

5.00Do you know that feeling when you visit a friend’s hometown, and s/he shows you around, gives you all the historical facts but layers that with the day to day lives of locals? It makes the tour deeply personalized, and you come out of it feeling like you just had a great time, instead of being slammed by a history book. Great time, highly recommended!
