Great way to experience the island

5.00Absolutely loved this trip. My wife was a bit nervous before we were collected from our hotel, but after a few minutes she turned to me and said she was loving it. Our driver and guide John, was so good. We spent the first few minutes deciding on the best itinerary, and off we went, stopping off at few different view points, and taking in the local history. My takeaway was breathing in the air and aromas as we rode through the eucalyptus trees, so beautiful. The serenity of Nuns Valley was just so good for the soul, and then the stop for coffee and local panoramic view point was something that you wouldn’t get on a larger group based tour. 100% recommend.

5.00I booked this trike experience for my husbands 60th birthday as he loves motorbikes. John arrived right on time at our hotel to pick us up and gave us our helmets and a quick explanation of the trip and enquired if we had any preferences on where we wanted to go. As we have been to Madiera many times we let John decide and we had the most enjoyable afternoon visiting places off the beaten track along with a couple of touristy places. John is very knowledgeable, good company and keeps you entertained. My husband loved every minute and I could not have wished for a better experience. I am more than happy to recommend Adventuretrikes to anyone as I do not think you will find anyone better. Well worth doing.

5.00Quite simply excellent and we will use Adventure Trikes again in the autumn. Why? John, friendly, knowledgeable, proactive and a very good & safe rider. We’ve taken various tours over a he years, however John took us through some different scenery and we were need up at some beautiful viewing points. I am SSI and you he seating position enabled me (with one eye to have a full 180o viewing experience, unlike being inside a car. Comfortable, secure with genets and warm jackets if you get chilly. It all works. John, many thanks. 🙏

5.00Garth collected us from near the cruise ship, he was early, very personable, professional and a charming host who showed us around the island on his pride and joy, a 1500cc beast that afforded us spectacular views coupled with Garths knowledge and it was the highlight of a great holiday. Many thanks to Garth, the perfect host. We would thoroughly recommend this trike tour as a superb alternative to tour buses etc. Phil and Janet

This is by far the best way of seeing the different sights on Madeira, and John is a very knowledgeable guide. We will definitely book again next time we visit . Thank you 🙏

5.00Thanks to John and Elmo for the unique and incredible Trike tour around Madeira. Despite the slightly inclement weather in the hills it was still a very enjoyable way of seeing the island and taking in some of the beautiful views. They even managed to include a free wine tasting stop for us in one of the local distilleries! Couldn't recommend it highly enough. Thank you James and Gary

5.00I admit I got on the trike with some trepidation, but I needn’t have worried. Wow, wow, wow! What an amazing three hour experience. John picked us up from our hotel, took us up to Eira do Serrado for spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and looking down into Nun’s Valley. We then descended on the trike into Nun’s Valley, stopped for a poncha, which is a (very) potent, but delicious, local drink of rum, honey/sugar and citrus juice, then continued on the trike through more spectacular scenery before ending our tour in Câmara de Lobos. John was an excellent, informative and very knowledgeable guide. I felt really safe and enjoyed the adventure so much I will be booking again to discover more of this beautiful island when I return to Madeira next June.
