  We travelled around Sri Lanka with Janith as our private driver from March 29. to April 9., 2026, and we highly recommend him to anyone planning a trip to Sri Lanka. Before our trip, Janith helped prepare a great itinerary, and during the journey he was always flexible and happy to adjust the plans. Everything felt relaxed and completely stress-free. Janith is always smiling, friendly, and very easy to travel with. We travelled as a family with children, and he was wonderful with them. His car was always very clean, comfortable, and had excellent air conditioning, which made the longer drives very pleasant. The safaris were a highlight of our trip. Thanks to Janith we saw elephants, a leopard, deer, buffalo, beautiful birds, crocodiles, monkeys, mongooses and much more. Janith is reliable, open, and very knowledgeable about Sri Lanka. We always felt safe and well taken care of. If you are looking for a private driver in Sri Lanka, especially for a family trip, Janith is an excellent choice. • An amazing experience for our multi generation family

  We had an amazing 12 days in Sri Lanka with Janith! What an experience that we will never forget. As a multi generational family (baby, mum, dad, and grandparents) we weren’t the easiest group to host but Janith took into account all our needs and was so helpful and kind throughout. Janith was fantastic with communication both before and during the trip and never hesitated to change the plan or respond to our needs during each day. We spent time in Ahangama, Galle, Udawalawe, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, and Negombo and Janith had great local knowledge of each area, including what to see and where to eat. He also helped us secure tickets for the amazing train ride from Ella to Nuwara Eliya. Janith’s van was comfortable and spacious and we enjoyed travelling in it even for longer journeys.   We travelled with Janith for 8 days in February 2026. We had an amazing trip from the airport to the hill country, Yala and with final drop off on the south coast. Janith is very reliable, always smiling and being positive and always on time. He took good care of our family including 3 kids (7y, 4y and 9m). Janith also has very good contacts and knows local places so he will ensure you get a special experience. Also he ensured to adapt to our family’s needs. Don’t hesitate to contact him. We give our best recommendations!

  Best 7 days holiday with the sweetest guide who showed us his lovely country Sri Lanka. We were picked up at the airport with flowers and hot coffee, then started our trip. We were picked up every morning on time and always with a smile on our lips. Janith thank you for taking care of us and showing us your beautiful country.   We have just come home from a fantastic trip. Thanks to Celestial ( Janith) our driver and guide. Janith has shown us the most beautiful Sri Lanka. Taken us places that few people go to, and traveled first class with train, even though it was sold out. He is always prepared and on time.   As first-time visitors to Sri Lanka, choosing Janith from Celestial Sri Lanka was the best decision we made. He was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive while helping us plan a perfect 12-day itinerary. Even during storm disruptions, he kept us informed and reassured. Janith was warm, punctual, and a joy to travel with in his comfortable vehicle as we explored Negombo, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Mirissa, Galle, Bentota, and Colombo.   I spent hours and hours online searching for tips and advice on planning our trip to srilanka. This was our first trip to Srilanka and we wanted to explore the country as much as possible in 12days. One thing that came across very strongly was that having a private vehicle with an English speaking, reliable and knowledgeable driver was essential. I was bombarded with adverts from various companies promising to provide all of the above. However, I have always relied on reviews from personal experiences and recommendations. Celestial Sri Lanka was recommended by a Dutch traveler and to ensure he wasn't affiliated to the company, I started private conversation with the traveler and he shared his honest experiences of traveling with Janith from Celestial. I then immediately messaged Janith with a rough plan. Janith was very informative, patient and guided me to plan my itinerary exactly as I wanted it and to cover the main sites. Janith remained calm and patient even through the storm Ditwah, keeping me informed on what areas of the country had suffered and how quickly the government had responded in assisting with recovery plan etc. He responded to messages very promptly and suggested to have patience (as our trip was not due for another 3wks). Fortunately we did not have to alter our itinerary. Janith picked us from the airport and we jelled with him from the word go. We had the most relaxed and comfortable journey in his 7 seater vehicle throughout our trip, covering Negombo, Sigiriya, Dambula, Kandy, Nuwara Elliya, Ella, Mirissa, Galle, Bentota and Colombo. What made these places most memorable is that Janith has personal local contacts every place we visited and took us to offbeat sites. Just to mention a few - ☆ He got our train tickets and arranged personal experience in the engine room. ☆ Private swim in waterfalls without any other tourists was the highlight. ☆ walking through tea plantation. ☆ breakfast in the middle of a lagoon. ☆ Meeting his family, the best lunch in Srilanka and serenaded with violin playing by his daughters. ☆ Roadside stops for the best coconut water, mangoes, lunches etc. ☆ Janith spotted wildlife a mile away and stopped safely, so we managed to catch great pictures of random wildlife. Janith was available 24/7, always prompt on time with a smile and warm greetings. What I loved was that making everyday our best experience was his priority and he would constantly ask "are you happy" and if I made any changes to our plan for the day he would smile and say "no problem, as you wish". We felt very safe throughout our trip which was the most important thing for us as a traveling family.

• A Perfect Day in Kandy

  We were in Kandy today and spent 8 hours exploring Kandy with 4 adults and 2 TukTuks. We were picked up on time at the hotel and superbly guided. Janith pointed us perfectly to everything (opening hours, prices, when is which attraction best) and took us safely through the whole city. It was a really great day. The guides were friendly and spoke very good English. Also with children absolutely recommended. The price was unbeatable. Thanks again for the nice day.
