Definitely recommend this tour in Belgrade! I've done walking tours in a lot cities, so have a high bar. Our guide Aleksandar was super interesting and made the history and politics of Yugoslavia really easy to understand. He also shared nice recommendations for Belgrade after the tour.

Aleksandar was so informative and passionate about his subject. His enthusiasm for the history really made the tour interesting and helped us understand the very complex history of Serbia. He was very informed not just about Serbia but was knowledgable about politics around the world. We also added on a tour of the communist museum and it was extremely helpful to have Aleksandar as a guide around this otherwise I think it would have been quite difficult to understand what we were looking at! I would highly recommend this tour.

My wife and I absolutely loved this tour! The guide was dynamic, engaging, and did an excellent job of keeping everyone involved and participating throughout the entire experience. He answered every question with passion and made the tour both informative and entertaining. What we enjoyed the most was his extensive knowledge of the history of Belgrade and the wider region. He shared plenty of fascinating facts, historical context, and funny anecdotes that really brought the city to life. The time flew by, which is always a sign of a great tour. If you're visiting Belgrade and want to gain a broader understanding of the city beyond just Stari Beograd, this tour is absolutely perfect. It provides a much more complete perspective on Belgrade, its history, and its different neighborhoods. 100% recommended. This tour is a must! Signed... Žužu :)

Fantastic tour! Aleksandar does a great job of giving context and background to a complicated and sensitive subject. He approaches the matter giving all perspectives and is able to simplify the complexity of the past and present political landscape into something more easily digestible for people without a political/historical background.

This is by far the most in-depth walking tour I’ve ever taken. It takes you to hidden spots that regular tourists would easily miss or walk right past without knowing their significance. If you have even a slight interest in history, this tour is an absolute must. It reveals things that make traveling around this region so much more fascinating once you know them. Even though Yugoslav history is incredibly complex, the guide kept it engaging and never boring. The maps provided during the tour were also incredibly helpful. The guide was knowledgeable, fun, and kind, and the group had an amazing vibe as well. It’s a tour that truly leaves a lasting impression.
