We had the pleasure of joining the Explore Copolia Trail experience by Island Exploration Seychelles, and it was nothing short of majestic—thanks largely to our incredible guide, Ryan. From the moment he picked us up from our hotel in a comfortable and clean vehicle, it was clear we were in good hands. Ryan is not only an excellent driver, but also a fantastic storyteller. As we made our way to the trail, he shared rich insights into the island’s history and culture, which made the journey even more enjoyable. On the trail, Ryan was attentive and deeply knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. He pointed out countless species of plants, insects, and small animals we would have easily missed on our own. His passion for the natural world was infectious, and we came away with a much deeper appreciation for the biodiversity of Seychelles. The hike itself was beautiful, culminating in a breathtaking viewpoint at the top of Copolia Trail. From there, Ryan helped us identify different parts of the island visible from the summit, adding context and meaning to the stunning view. Throughout the trip, Ryan was kind, patient, and thoughtful. He kept everything on schedule without ever making us feel rushed, and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves at every step. After the hike, he drove us safely back to our starting point, wrapping up a perfectly timed and memorable experience. We can’t recommend this experience—and Ryan—highly enough. If you’re visiting Seychelles and want to explore its natural beauty with a guide who truly cares, this is the trip to book.

Ryan was awesome! As a local Seychelois, he was very knowledgeable for everything that was about the island, the history, the trail we did. He showed us lots of different plats and trees. The trail was quite easy! A big part of it is under the shades of trees! We had such an awesome time with Ryan! Highly recommended to everyone !

The hike to the top of the mountain was not easy, and you must reserve energy for the trip back down. Sometimes the muddy trails can be slippery and your ankles can get caught inbetween larger tree roots on the path. However, the view from top is worth it. Absolutely stunning view of the city and ocean as well as the mountains - unforgettable.

Nice trail, not to difficult but very very humid weather. A lot of ups and downs but the reward at the end is worth the effort 🥰🥰

What a way to spend a few hours! Ryan is an awesome guide, who clearly knows his stuff. We spent the entire hike up talking about the plants and birds/animals we were seeing. Ryan is happy to adjust his pace depending on his client, and trust me there were definitely very steep bits where I needed to go slower! The views at the summit were phenomenal and definitely worth the effort! 100% recommend!!

Ryan is an amazing guide with a lot of experience and knowledge. He picked us up at the hotel in time and was a walking wikipedia for all fauna and flora during the hike. We went with 2 young kids (5 and 7) do note it is an intense walk. It is about 1 hour to the top and 50 mins back. The temperature and humidity make it harder, take plenty of water. The view at the end is more than worth it.

Friendly trail for a beautiful view on arrival Between 8 am and 4 pm paying 100 rupees per person over 12 years old. Clean toilet in the cabin at departure. We took 1h15 to make the return trip walking at good speed. It's steep, but not as steep as White Morne. Still plan on having good shoes
