Only 2 km away is the tourist attraction Las Hornillas (not included in this package) and nearby are hot springs. We are 1 hour from Liberia Airport and the city, where you will go from warm weather to the freshness of the slopes of Miravalles volcano.

What To Expect
Cuilpilapan Miravalles
Start your experience at the reception of Cuilpilapan Miravalles, where you will be cordially received and given initial directions. From there, you will start a hike of approximately 3 km along nature trails surrounded by lush vegetation, enjoying panoramic views, crystal clear pools and local fauna. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to cross an impressive suspension bridge, from where you can appreciate unique landscapes and a spectacular view of the forest. Then, we will continue until we reach the river, following its course to a point where two spectacular falls meet, ideal to relax, cool down and capture unforgettable photographs. On the way back, we will visit the sloth plot, a natural space where you can observe them in their surroundings, learn about their behavior and appreciate the tranquility that characterizes them. 5.00Fabulous private tour with a friendly guide who took time to explain many things as we walked in the forest. This tour company is a family business and you get a personalized experience at you rythm. When we went we were alone in the forest, not crowded at all. We saw sloths, beautiful waterfall, birds, suspension bridge and observatory view point.

5.00We were lucky enough for our hotel attendant to suggest this place to us. We LOVED it! A family owned and operated business that radiates joy and kindness. We did the hike and added on the sloth tour and saw 3 sloths, a family of monkeys, birds, a stunning waterfall which we played in and around and soaked up the forest. It was relaxed, catered to what interested us, and truly such a wonderful day. If you are in the area and want an authentically Costa Rican experience, do this.
