During this 2.5 hours walk we will make the connection from medieval history & legends to what inspired architects and motivates the independence movement.

We were on Tuesday with Michael in Barcelona. It was impressive, informative and very entertaining. Michael showed us the city from another, very beautiful side. Away from tourist attractions and crowds of people. He showed us beautiful places to stay, with hints of great restaurants, eateries and small cafes. He walked with us through narrow streets with a lot of charm and naturalness and brought the history of the city to life in places such as the Roman city walls. You can find out what the bat is about and why the flag has red stripes on the tour. We found it fantastic and personal. Time passed far too fast. Thank you very much again for this wonderful morning in Barcelona. We will come back. Best regards Annett

The guide was very knowledgeable and had some excellent tips unrelated to the tour as well. I would not recommend this to a family with kids, but the adults in our group enjoyed.

I am a city guide in Munich and booked the tour "Hidden Streets" with my family as an exclusive tour. Christian was our guide and showed us the city. Since we were in Barcelona for the first time, we naturally had a lot of questions. Christian explained everything to us and so we were able to explore many "not overrun" corners. He also gave us many tips. Very nice, competent and friendly. Can really highly recommend. @Christian - thank you very much

Our multi-generational group of 13 had this private tour with Christian on our first full day in Barcelona. Fabulous way to start the vacation! Highly recommend at the beginning of your visit. We were able to go back and shop and dine in some hidden areas of the city that Christian showed us that we wouldn’t have found on our own. He had interesting information and stories to share. My girlfriend and I did this private tour with Michael and had the best time! We got a lot of knowledge about the different sights and sides of Barcelona, not just visiting the most famous places, but gaining a real understanding of what makes the city special and seeing all the little hidden alleys and hearing about the history of the city and how it developed. In addition to that, it was just very interesting to talk to Michael and hear about his life and his history with Barcelona. He also provided us with more tips for our visit and kept informing us about upcoming events. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see more of Barcelona than just the biggest sights.

Barcelona is enormous and it’s easy to get lost amongst the throngs of tourists. Christian took us through some amazing neighborhoods that we never would have discovered otherwise. As a result, I purchased a piece of jewelry from the studio of an amazing local artist and I am ecstatic!

He personalized our tour according to our specific needs and was very attentive to all of our needs throughout.
