The Waagplein is perhaps the most famous place in Alkmaar. The cheese market has been held here since the year 1365. Every Friday it is very busy. But even without the cheese market, Waagplein is worth a visit, for example for the beautiful weighing house with its old tower
Nationaal Biermuseum De Boom
We walk past the iconic building of the beer museum, the largest and oldest beer brewery in Alkmaar. In this Beer Museum, which used to be the brewery, 33 different types of beer were brewed. Now it is open as a museum.

2.00I bought a city walk of an hour/an hour and a half (called big about it with one of you and he also reported this) but the walk was less than a kilometer and we were done after fifteen minutes. Very misleading and very disappointing as a team outing. Waste of money...
