5.00The tour of Kanazawa with Yuri was amazing! She met us at our hotel and showed us all around the samurai district, Kanazawa garden and castle, the Omicho fish market (where we got to try a number of Kanazawa specialty dishes), and geisha districts. Along the way, we got to visit a local kutani shop, a gold leaf store/museum, and a sake brewery. It was great to learn the history and culture from a local. Yuri was very friendly, informative and considerate even bringing us bottled water, offering to take pictures of us, and giving us small treats. Highly recommend! Thank you so much, Yuri!

Her warmth, enthusiasm, and deep knowledge of the city's history and culture truly brought every site to life. It felt less like a guided tour and more like exploring the city with a knowledgeable friend. She completely tailored the tour to our interests, seamlessly blending major highlights like the Omicho Market, Kenrokuen Garden, the Castle and Samurai District with hidden gems we never would have found on our own. She even went above and beyond, making an excellent reservation for us at a local sushi restaurant and captured beautiful photos throughout the day. Arigato gozaimasu for making this a memorable day!

5.00Yuri was a great guide for our party of four. From a logistics perspective, she was very responsive and clear in the planning of the tour on whatsapp. The time spent was very interactive and Yuri was very responsive to our interests and pacing. We modified on the fly and took taxis when appropriate as it was a rainy and cold day Yuri took us to the castle, the Samurai District and the Giesha District. After that we walked up to a hidden temple that was a special treat and then a gold leaf exhibit. Yuri was incredibly personable and warm. She was a true pleasure to have as a guide.

5.00We had an amazing time with Yuria - a local of Kanazawa. She was the perfect guide to present us her hometown, not to mention she is also a very cheerful and lovely presence 🙂. We felt as if we were spending time with a friend and that time flew so fast 🙂. We had the chance to see hidden gems of the city, as well as to learn more fascinating details about their culture, history and religion. We wish we had more time available. We would recommend her to anyone.

5.00I booked Yuri's experience through a tour guide friend. This was my fourth time to visit Kanazawa, and thanks to the guidance of someone who grew up there, I was able to get quite a lot of information! Starting at Omi-cho Market, we visited just the right amount of spots: Higashi Chaya-gai, Samurai residences, and Daisetz Suzuki Museum. It was great to see how they were getting along with the people in the shop and creating a cozy atmosphere wherever they went, as well as learning about the information around the country. I had a good time everywhere thanks to it. Whether you've never been to Kanazawa or not, this is a tour you should book once! Thank you very much.

5.00Best day!! Yuri is the perfect guide. She is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. You will see some beautiful places and more importantly she will explain the history of Kanazawa which just makes everything more understandable. We had a wonderful authentic lunch with local crab that is specific to Kanazawa! Also she is very helpful— will give you tips and recommendations and speak to others in Japanese for you if need to facilitate a reservation or a purchase in a local shop. She will also take you solo (which some guides wont do). I LOVED my day with Yuri- 10/10 recommendation!!!
