Pointe Venus
This historic site is famous for its lighthouse, black sandy beaches and views of Matavai Bay. It was here that navigator James Cook anchored to observe the transit of Venus in 1769. A place full of history and natural beauty.

5.00This is a full on day and a wonderful way to learn about Tahiti, its culture, history and main touristic sights. We travelled in a comfortable car and Heimana was friendly and helpful. The highlight was lunch - what a feast! Highly recommended.

Our tour guide, Mana, was beyond amazing—so friendly, warm, and genuinely passionate about Tahiti. His knowledge of the island, its culture, and history was impressive, and he made every moment fun and engaging. The lunch by the beach at a local family’s home was simply outstanding—fresh, authentic, and beyond delicious. Eating in such a beautiful setting while being welcomed with such heartfelt hospitality made the experience truly unforgettable. 5.00We were able to have a private (upgrade) tour for the first tour of the Heimana guide. Super nice, we made several stops and ended with the distillery. The weather was not great that day but Heimana did everything to give us the best experience! Big + lunch with the family, ultra warm. Really, we'll remember this meeting all our lives.

5.00This was one of the best tours that I have experienced. Our guide Marie Jeanne was fantastic. She was very personable, upbeat...she clearly has a passion for what she does and shares a lot of history of Tahiti. This is a tour that I would highly recommend....it was worth every cent.
