5.00I recommend going to Lugano for a visit. Right off the train station you will be welcomed with an amazing view. Clean place. Don’t forget your bathing suit for a quick dip in the lake. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. I learned about the city’s history as well as good places to eat. She guided us as well on taking the bus around the city and getting on the funicular for a bird’s eye view of lake Lugano.

5.00My husband and I booked “Explore the Instaworthy Spots of Lugano with a Local” with Florane during our stay in Lugano in May 2023. What I immediately appreciated about her was that she presented us with two options: the tour as described (i.e., photos focused) or more of a historical stroll with spots for pictures along the way (i.e., a more traditional tour). We opted for the latter because it’s more our style – we originally booked this tour because of its brief length, despite the name, and appreciated Florane calibrated from the start. She was very friendly and clearly passionate about the charm of the city. The tour hit just the right amount of spots (sadly we didn’t make it to the olive grove trail) and gave you a lay of the city without being overly detailed. If you’re looking to understand your surroundings a bit, but don’t want to spend an entire day enmeshed in history instead of water sports, this is the tour for you.
