VISIT OUR WEBSITE for a full list of our tours! Kick your evening off in style with this fun and intimate wine bar tour that celebrates the tradition of “apéro,” when friends come together for pre-dinner drinks and nibbles, while exploring the wine regions of Toulouse.
We'll explore some of the coolest wine bars in the Toulouse city center and discover the little-known wine regions of SW France. Learn wine tasting
techniques in a fun and relaxed atmosphere where questions are encouraged!
We'll taste the unique grape varieties like Négrette, Mauzac, or Braucol, while savoring locally-produced charcuterie and cheeses. Guided by a certified French Wine Scholar, you'll develop your wine vocabulary and increase your confidence so you know what you like and are comfortable ordering wine in any situation.

Each guest will receive the equivalent of approximately 3 glasses of wine.
At one of the stops, we'll share a cheese and charcuterie platter (or other light nibbles) to go with the wine.
In order to be environmentally friendly, we don't distribute bottled water. Tap water is available at each wine bar, but you can also bring your own reusable bottle if you like to stay hydrated.
Toulouse
We'll be walking through the picturesque city center of Toulouse, with approximately 45 minute stops at 2-3 of the best wine bars in the Toulouse city center, chosen after lots of testing (and tasting). We won't spoil the surprise about which ones - especially since they change based on availability and seasonality.
Marche des Carmes
We'll also visit a wine bar that looks on to the bustling square around the Marché des Carmes.

Great fun. Small group. Learned a lot about wine, how a somerlier is trained, wine regions, and how to determine the "notes" in wine. Three little top rated places you'd likely never find on your own.

Best Wine Bar Tour we've had. We had an authentic wine expert who walked us through information not just about the Toulouse wine scene, but also provided us the context of winemaking industry in Southwest France. We also appreciated the type of wine bars that were chosen for a visit - they were ones that we would not find by ourselves and ones that made sure that local products from small winemakers were represented in their menu. Finally, special mention to our guide Julie Conjeaud who created a convivial atmosphere among strangers making the tour way more special.

We had an amazing experience learning so much about not just wine but Toulouse, France in general and much more from our incredibly knowledgeable and friendly sommelier Julie. We loved that the tour took us to less well known but unmissable wine bars as well as famous and prestigious wine bars to give us an insight into the history of wine bar culture in Toulouse and a taste of some extremely complex and interesting wines. We started the tour with very limited knowledge of wine and wine making in France but felt as though we left with a much greater understanding of how different people can pick up different notes from the same wine as well as knowledge of the different appellations in the South West of France. The cheese and charcuterie board we had during the tour was also exquisite! Overall we would wholeheartedly recommend this wine tasting experience for anyone coming to Toulouse, from people with a vast knowledge of wine to less well versed people who just want to get more of an insight into this amazing industry like ourselves. We couldn't recommend Julie our guide enough as she is so welcoming and really made the tour unforgettable.

A fantastic experience with a very knowledgable local. Being born and bred in Toulouse Julie was exceptional with regards to information. A very realxed atmosphere and fun for us as we toured the different wine bars. All had a different vibe which was nice to experience. I would highly recommend this tour to others. We have now got a go to wine seller for our future wines too!!

I very much enjoyed this tour. Julie’s wine knowledge is impressive! She introduced some regional grape varieties & blends that I had not come across before. The three wine bars were excellent venus that you are unlikely to discover without a guide. I would highly recommend Taste of Toulouse.

Great tour with Jessica! She did a wonderful job combining history, culture & wine. Our group have a varying degree of wine knowledge & I thought it worked really well for all. Best of all, Jessica shared all of her favorite Toulouse restaurants and bars after. Super helpful!!
