  It was a wonderful experience. Very different. Dancers were very good. Show also had a little comedy mixed in. Audience participation added to the experience and was very entertaining. Highly recommend to go. Would like to see another show in the future. Drinks were good as well as the lounge.

  We saw Exposure at Mystic Dark Room and overall I’d give it 3 stars. The venue itself is very cool — seating is essentially on stage, which makes it incredibly intimate and immersive. That was honestly one of the best parts of the experience. The performers were clearly talented and polished, and some of the choreography was genuinely impressive. That said, the show leaned heavily into dark, interpretive dance. A few sections felt repetitive and dragged a bit, although the ending was strong and the highlight of the night. Music and lighting were solid; production value was decent but not amazing, especially considering the price. If you’re into moody, interpretive dance with audience participation, this could absolutely be your thing. It just wasn’t quite my vibe, and I probably wouldn’t go back.

  It was an unexpected delight and the perfect way to kick off a couples’ getaway. From the moment you arrive, the venue sets the mood—it’s charming, intimate, and visually stunning. The anticipation builds as you step inside, and the atmosphere does not disappoint. The performers were outstanding, making the experience even more special. While it’s a great spot for a date night, it would also be fantastic to visit with a group of friends.

  My wife and I were told that if we could get tickets, this is a show that should not be missed. We were able to get VIP tickets and even though our expectations were high, we were not disappointed. We arrived at the theater to see a 3 story mini-mansion. Greeted at the front door we were escorted to the beautiful VIP lounge for a drink before the show. When showtime was near, we were again escorted upstairs to the theater and our seats. The theater was cozy and instead of sitting away from a stage, the seats are on the dance floor, so you feel like you are part of the production. When the music opened the show, what we experienced was nothing short of an intimate off-Broadway show. The dancers, choreography and excitement were spectacular. Between dance numbers, one or two of the dancers did some playful interactive fun games with people from the audience. After a quick costume change, the dance team came out for dance number 2 and 3. This was a very professional show performed by a highly professional dance team that just blew us away. The show was approximately 90 minutes and after the final number, the cast came out and each member introduced them self. I was surprised to hear that these young dancers were from all over the world. As far away as India. Australia and New Zealand. After their introduction they came over to the table to thank us for coming and we were able to ask them questions about their dance quest that brought them to the little town of Mystic, CT. It was a great night, that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Mystic that is looking for a unique experience. We will do again when we come back to Mystic.

  If you want an exciting and unique experience in Mystic, CT this is the place to go! This is not your typical dance show. You pull up to this beautiful mansion, met at the door and seated right on the dance floor. You'll be immersed in talented dancing, great music and so much fun for the entire evening; I didn't want the night to end! The dancers, who are from all around the world come and speak with the audience after the show is over, which just added to this really cool environment. You won't be disappointed with this night out!

  Expect to be completely entertained! Artistic, intimate and one of a kind experience . My husband brought me here for a sexy valentines date night. We enjoyed cocktails in the VIP lounge and met some fun people. If you need a break from parenting, take a night out and feel like a sexy human again. Get dressed up , and enjoy ! Go to dinner first to complete your date night. We will bring friends and adult family members the next time they come to visit for an unforgettable experience. I cannot wait to come back.
