We leave the Barraterre Government Dock at 8:00 am and head North through the pristine, crystal-clear tropical waters along the numerous small sandy islands referred to as "Cays". Big Major Cay is the home of the famous swimming pigs! You’ll want to have your camera ready to capture a picture of these swimming swines and paddling porcine! Another amazing highlight is a stop at Leaf Cay. Here you’ll have the opportunity to see large iguanas. We also stop at Compass Cay, where you can swim with the nurse sharks (cover charge of $15 pp). Thunderball Grotto is another Bahamian gem and definitely a memorable stop. When the tide is low you'll be guided along a snorkelling adventure into the breathtaking clear water of the cavern where you’ll see many species of smaller fish. We'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant on Black Point, with mouth watering native cuisine and cold Kaliks! Lunch is not included in the price of the trip. Depending on the tide and the timing of the expedition, Captain Robert may have a few other delightful surprise stops during the return trip to Exuma. We return to the dock around 3:30 pm.

We had a wonderful day on a relatively small boat with captains Naldo and Yano. The stops were very memorable, never seen fish like in the Grotto. The pigs were cute and not dirty , as I was a little afraid originally. The lunch was plenty and home style, which I always prefer! The only bump I have to mention. We agreed in a pick up location and nobody showed up for us. Fortunately, we had a rental car and were able to drive ( quite far) and catch the boat but it seemed the communication was a little rusty. So make sure you triple check and if no-one is there, call them fast, so will not miss out on this really fun trip.

We booked a full day with Roberts for our family with two teens and an 84 year old mother in law. While our resort had told us we can book when we arrive, we decided not to risk it and called in advance, thankfully as most of the spots were filled for the time we were there. The weather was not the best, with high winds and cloudy skies, but our captain and mate made the experience memorable! They kept the energy up and provided information on the area, as well as good drink service! Most notable was our captain was able to keep us just ahead of the other tours that were seeing the same sights, thus we had the sharks to ourselves for a little bit, and were able to see Thunderball grotto just before the tide became too high. The lunch stop was mixed, with the view being stunning and the buffet food being meh for the price. Small note, this is a great stop to get a cleaned conch shell from the discarded ones (they can be taken back in checked bags only!). Robert himself was very responsive and it was easy to book and pay. The full day tour is a great way to see parts of the area that you would not be able to reach on the half day tours, or even renting a boat. Would highly recommend!

We had an incredible experience! I highly recommend Robert's Island Adventures. If you're looking for a personalized, private full-day tour - these are the guys to use! Our crew was so friendly and knowledgeable, we learned so much about the islands. On our tour, we got to see iguanas, nurse sharks, swimming pigs, thunderball grotto, sandbars, turtles, stingrays, and a few special surprises that were super cool!!

We enjoyed the luxury of having a private tour with only three people. The ship was huge two great guides were there who explained everything to us and aligned themselves according to our wishes in the planning. It was wonderful!

This was by far the highlight of our week. The weather tried to cancel our trip twice but we finally got to go on the last day of our vacation and it was unbelievably fun. The pigs, the sharks, the sandbar stop and iguana beach were all fantastic experiences. The sunken plane and the sea turtles were an unexpected bonus and very much enjoyed. I personally loved the Thunderball Grotto experience as well but if you are not a strong open water swimmer or have a fear of closed in spaces you might want to stay on the boat for this one. I would highly recommend this tour

WOW! What an awesome experience! We had the good fortune of William as our captain! The day was full of fun adventures and our crew was amazing! It started with a great boat ride to thunder bolt grotto. During our ride there we learned anout the many cayes private and public. The grotto snorkeling was beautiful! Then it was onto swimming with the pigs! Quite the experience! We had a nice break at the lovely sandbar and then onto swimming with the sharks! One of my most memorable parts of the adventure! After that we went on to a full lunch buffet at Deshamon restaurant on black point caye. It was delicious. Next stop was visiting the turtles and finally iguana island! The day was full and the company was great! Roberts Adventures went above and beyond for our group. We highly recommend this excursion for anyone visiting Exuma! Thank you William! I really appreciate you! Kathy
