What To Expect
We leave the Barraterre Government Dock at 8:00 am and head North through the pristine, crystal-clear tropical waters along the numerous small sandy islands referred to as "Cays". Big Major Cay is the home of the famous swimming pigs! You’ll want to have your camera ready to capture a picture of these swimming swines and paddling porcine! Another amazing highlight is a stop at Leaf Cay. Here you’ll have the opportunity to see large iguanas. We also stop at Compass Cay, where you can swim with the nurse sharks (cover charge of $15 pp). Thunderball Grotto is another Bahamian gem and definitely a memorable stop. When the tide is low you'll be guided along a snorkelling adventure into the breathtaking clear water of the cavern where you’ll see many species of smaller fish. We'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant on Black Point, with mouth watering native cuisine and cold Kaliks! Lunch is not included in the price of the trip. Depending on the tide and the timing of the expedition, Captain Robert may have a few other delightful surprise stops during the return trip to Exuma. We return to the dock around 3:30 pm.

5.00Great day with our crew Captain T and First Mate Yonis - what an awesome experience seeing the swimming pigs, iguanas and the Grotto ! Just Wow! Crew was highly knowledgeable and so friendly - we even saw Pablo’s plane crash and Copperfield’s underwater piano/mermaid - thanks for a fantastic day !

5.00Such a fun day. The crew were so helpful and wonderful! The pigs were so cute. Sharks incredible and even petted an iguana. But my favorite was Thunderball grotto!!!!

5.00This trip was soooooooo amazing, they saved our vacation because they took us out even though other places were canceling due to lower bookings. Because of this we were able to take a beautiful tour on our anniversary! They took us to iguana island where we got great pictures, pig beach where they staged super cute pictures and gave us crackers to feed the swimming pigs from the boat, we docked to snorkel and hold nurse sharks and Naldo got incredible pictures and videos of all these cool things the sharks and fish do. We also got to relax at a sand bar and snorkel Thunderball Grotto where they really made sure we had a beautiful and safe experience. The boat was clean and fast, we had drinks and water and the buffet they take you to on Black Point was SOOOO FREAKIN GOOD SOME OF THE BEST FOOD OF THE TRIP. I can't give enough praise to our tour guides, William and Naldo, thank you thank you thank you for a memorable trip and for being two incredible people ❤️

5.00What an awesome adventure. Captain William and his first mate were incredible. Very attentive to the crew. They pointed out all the islands and landmarks. You do travel a good distance and it is a full day so prepare accordingly. This is a MUST DO when visiting Exuma.

5.00The experience was amazing! Captain and crew were experienced and entertaining to be around and to boat with! Highlight was definitely hanging with the nurse sharks and seeing the celeb photos who also enjoyed the same thing there. I would recommend this excursion for a full day boat trip if available to do so on your trip.

5.00It was perfect! Robert, Jano and Hartmann were the best crew. They were funny, content and really seem to know what they were doing. They respected the animals and nature all the way. If you’re thinking of doing a tour through the cays, please do it with them! It’s a family owned business and you experience that all the way.

5.00I loved it! I had a great day with Robert's Island Adventures. We saw the (famous) swimming pigs, iguanas and some turtles, swam with the (super friendly) nurse sharks, visited the amazing Thunderball Grotto, had an aperitif on a sand bank, and had extra time for snorkelling. The staff (William and Naldo) were super friendly and putting safety first. It was a full day (from 8.00am to 4.00pm) very well paced, with a small group of seven other (friendly) people.
