What To Expect
We start at the same put in point as our whitewater rafting trip - just 20min drive outside Jinja town. Minimum number is 4 people. After a quick safety briefing we push out to the river above the rapid ‘Jaws’ a big volume grade 2+ rapid which will get us wet and the adrenaline pumping! Pyramid rapid (Grade 2) and the grade 1 ‘Giggitty Giggitty’ rapid are next before we float and meander our way down the river, taking our time to swim and enjoy the riverine life and the nature around us. A 6km section of river in total we take out just above the big grade 5 rapids of ‘Overtime’ and ‘The Dutchman’. Combine this trip with a brunch or lunch at The Haven lodge which is right next door to our end point, or we will transport you back to Jinja. This trip will combine the logistics of our whitewater trips as a standard - which means sticking to the timings as stated on this page. If you have a large group and would like a bespoke trip please contact us and we can give you a dedicated itinerary and price. This is a perfect trip for school groups looking for a half day itinerary and can be combined with other activities for an incredible adventure day in Jinja.

5.00The whole experience was amazing! The guides were super nice and the instructions were very clear and detailed. You feel very safe since you practice every scenario on the calm water. There are always four different levels of difficulty for every section. A safety boat has melons, pineapples and more and you get a Burger and drinks on the way back. I would recommend this rafting tour to anyone.

5.00It was my first time rafting with family and friends. We did level 1 to 4. Tbh it was the best experience ever and I would do it again. Nasa the guide was knowledgeable and showed us tricks to stay safe

5.00This place is amazing. I have never been whitewater rafting and I was terrified to go whitewater rafting down the NILE. This body of water is intimidating and huge, one can fear doing something outside of their comfort zone. The team here was very reassuring that it was going to be okay. Not only do they prep you before getting in the tube, but they also make you practice on the tube. There was a big team willing to jump in and help whenever possible. They had two kayaks available in case your tube flipped, two trained professionals on the tube, and a safety boat that followed the tube. The energy of the team is very high and makes you excited to keep going forward. Our guide's name was Nassa and he was such a strong guide, helping whenever possible!

5.00Top event with variation in difficulty. Had good instruction in advance from friendly supervisor(s) and a wonderful experience in terms of diversity in difficulty. Lunch and drinks included and well taken care of along the way and afterwards.
