It is a semi-private or private tour with a native guide where you will discover the most famous places of Valparaíso located in the Unesco area. Your guide will do his/her best to adapt the tour to your special interests. We try to make each tour special and personal, such as showing our hometown to family or friends.

This is one of the most interesting places in the city center, where you will see a variety of architectural styles, the most important monument of the Chilean Navy and a local craft market.
Paseo 21 de Mayo
To close with a flourish, we finish our tour with the best panoramic view of the city, from a traditional promenade, where so many sailors made promises they never kept. Here you will find a craft fair and the National Maritime Museum. At the end of the tour, you can decide if you prefer to stay to enjoy the place for longer or return to the Sotomayor Square with your guide. We can also help you get an Uber or a taxi to go where you need it, be it your hotel, the bus terminal or a good restaurant for dinner.

We had the absolute privilege of exploring Valparaíso with a true local—and it made all the difference. From the moment we started, it was clear we weren’t just on a tour, but experiencing the city through the eyes of someone who genuinely lives and breathes its history, culture, and people. His depth of knowledge was exceptional—not just the well-known stories, but the hidden layers, personal insights, and local perspectives that you simply wouldn’t get otherwise. What stood out most was his passion. Every street, every building, every story was brought to life in a way that felt authentic and meaningful. On top of that, his understanding of the real estate landscape added a completely unique dimension that we truly appreciated. We feel incredibly lucky to have found him. Choosing a local guide was the best decision we made, and we couldn’t recommend him more highly to anyone wanting a deeper, more genuine experience of Valparaíso. Thank you again—it was unforgettable.

My husband and I enjoyed this small group tour of Valparaiso. Felipe shared history and culture of the town and answered all of our questions. His recommendations for the area were all great too!

Catalina was a bright ray of sunshine and was part of what made me fall in love with Valpariso. She truly has a love for this place and you can see it in everything she does. We got to see places we never would’ve found without her. Highly recommended you book this!

This is a must upon visiting Valparaiso as the streets and hills can be very confusing. It was our first activity upon our arrival, and afterwards we felt like pros at navigating the town. Kudos to Katarina.

I highly recommend this tour. Felipe was a knowledgeable and thoughtful guide. We left the tour feeling like we had really learned about the area we toured and how it fit into Valparaiso's and Chilean history. We also enjoyed visiting the local artists.

This is a lovely tour around the best areas of Valparaiso taking in some amazing murals and interesting vehicles. It was mainly walking but included a trolley ride and the funicular railway to increase the scope of our tour. The lovely guide Caterina was very communicative so we knew exactly where to meet in the main square. It was a nice group of six people. Caterina was the nicest person. She was so informative enthusiastic about her city and helpful. I highly recommend this tour
