The tour starts with the land pick up with our van to reach the starting pier at Willikies.
We'll arrive on Green Island beach 1 hour and 45 minutes before the arrival of the NOISY catamaran with 70/80 people. It will be just the 7 of us to enjoy this wonderful beach.
The Times UK said: "There are 51 islands lying off Antigua, and you could — and should — explore some on a boat trip from the mainland."
The best to visit is Green Island: one of the most untouched islands in the Caribbean.
Imagine being able to stay with a small group of up to 7 people on a deserted island in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. The island is called Green Island and is a paradise for biologists from all over the world. Deserted beaches where you will be the only one to leave footprints in the sand. We'll see the turtles surface on the surface of the water and then dive again. We'll reach natural pools with such crystalline water that you will hardly have seen in other parts of the world.

Green Island
Green Island is by far a natural pearl of the Caribbean Sea. It is an ecosystem protected by the government of Antigua, a paradise for those who love nature and dream beaches. After relaxing on the beach we will have the opportunity to see the turtles that emerge from the water to breathe, an indescribable emotion, it will seem to be inside a documentary, do not believe your eyes. Next we will reach natural sea pools with crystal clear water. Finally we will reach the famous beach of Emerald Cove, reachable EXCLUSIVELY BY SEA, where we will see the great starfish of the Caribbean (not guaranteed).

We had a wonderful relaxing excursion sailing out to Green Island by small boat and snorkeling with some sea turtles. Marco was our guide for the day. He was charming, knowledgeable and helpful. It was a great day !

We really enjoyed seeing multiple turtles as they ate the sea grass. The water was warm and comfortable. Marco was very friendly and informative and knew many details about the turtles and Sea life. He even found a conch for us to look at that had the Sea creature inside of it! Devon that piloted the boat was great as well.

Our experience with Marco in Antigua was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we stepped onto the boat, he made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and excited for the day ahead. You can immediately tell how much he genuinely loves the island and sharing its beauty with visitors. We took a tour out toward Green Island and had the incredible opportunity to swim with sea turtles in the most crystal-clear turquoise water imaginable. Seeing these beautiful turtles glide right beside us was honestly surreal, and thanks to Marco, we were able to get amazing footage and photos that we’ll treasure forever. He knew all the perfect spots and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the experience without ever feeling rushed. What really stood out was how attentive and accommodating he was throughout the entire trip. He constantly made sure everyone was comfortable, offered snacks and beverages, checked in on us, and kept such a fun and relaxed atmosphere the entire time. Beyond that, he was simply great company — we had such enjoyable conversations and learned so much about Antigua, the culture, and the hidden gems around the island.he took great pictures ! I made sure that we had the island to ourselves. We got there early and were out before the yachts came. Antigua itself is breathtaking, but having a guide like Marco truly elevated the entire experience. If you’re visiting Antigua and looking for a tour that feels personal, memorable, and authentic, I cannot recommend booking with Marco enough. Easily one of the highlights of our trip!

This was a perfect way to explore Antigua's natural beauty. We got lucky and were the only ones on the tour this day, though I know it's capped at a low number anyways. We were picked up right at our resort and taken to a speed boat, where we had a lovely ride to the Green Island. Our guide, Andrew, was wonderful and pointed out all the landmarks and wildlife on our way. When we got to the island, we were the only ones there. It felt like we were on an episode of Survivor in the best way - it was so secluded and peaceful. The boat doesn't stay with you, so make sure to bring what you need. Andrew stayed with us the entire time, and had plenty of snacks and drinks (which made it feel less like Survivor, also in the best way lol). The snorkeling was fantastic; we saw tons of fish, stingrays, and sea turtles. As soon as the large boats with the afternoon crowd came in, our little speed boat came back and we were out of there. It was the perfect way to spend a half day. This tour is perfectly planned to avoid crowds and stay as peaceful as possible. I highly recommend!

Amazing morning spent swimming with about 8 turtles. Marco was our guide. He had so much information to give about marine life. He and our boatman were excellent. Took us to Green island first for at least an hour swimming with turtles then when larger tourist boats came, we left for another peaceful bay. They also took us to a natural reef . Refreshments provided too. An all round excellent trip. Highly recommend

The excursion was great and overall the snorkeling was about average compared to other places we've been. What sets it aside is the sea turtles and we did see two which honestly made it all worth it. They would lay on the bottom of the ocean which I am guessing was 20 or so feet deep then occasionally come up for air. When they come up they are majestic and you can kind of "swim with them". We did see some other small fish, a barracuda, a sting ray, and I actually saw a large lobster. You will also see several conch shells on the ocean floor which is kind of cool. I feel like we snorkeled for around 2 hours and as other reviews state the guide will tell you it's about to get crowded. Sure enough one catamaran pulled into the cove right as we were leaving and once out of the cove we passed another heading that way with lots of people on board. The 2nd stop wasn't really that great but gave us a chance to have a beer, eat some pineapple and chips, and relax for a little bit before heading back in. The only two negatives I would mention are we had no communication after booking until the day before the excursion when they text us what time to be ready for pick up and the ride to the dock was very long from our resort. Other than those two things which are minor everything was great. I mentioned our driver Keanu was great, he stayed with us the entire day and the driver of the boat was also fun, can't remember his name. The boat ride from the dock to the drop off in the cove seemed pretty short, guessing 5-10 minutes which was nice. On the ride back in from Green Island the boat driver pointed out several things and gave us some information about several of the houses and properties that we passed which was neat.

We really enjoyed our half day boat trip to Green Island (including pick up & drop off). Keanu and Martine were knowledgeable and friendly (as was Devon driving the boat). We really appreciated getting to one of the calm bays before the bigger catamarans arrived as that gave us the opportunity to enjoy the peaceful bay before the crowd came in, due to this we had the chance to see several turtles whilst snorkelling there, one barracuda, and several other smaller fishies. Would definitely recommended and would go again when next in Antigua 🙂
