Sagrada is stunning and well worth a visit. Yes you can have a walk around and see it from the outside for free, but the intricate details of the exterior and interior can only be seen up close and personally. Book in advance to avoid a surge in cost and if a guided tour is not your forte the audio tour is also decent.

We booked this tour as we left it too late to book tickets direct. Glad that we did, Miguel our Guide was really knowledgable and it was great hearing all about the building and things we would not have known if we’d visited on our own. Our tour was in the middle is the day, which was good as we got to see the lights through the stained glass for the afternoon which is well worth it. The tour is just the right length and we got to stay on afterwards for an explore on our own. Also recommend a look at the museum before you leave the site.

We had a fantastic experience visiting the Sagrada Família, and a big part of that was thanks to our guide, Andrés. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also had a wonderful way of telling the story behind this remarkable place. His sense of humor made the tour even more enjoyable, and he kept us engaged from start to finish. Andrés explained the history and details in a way that was both easy to follow and genuinely interesting, bringing the church to life for us. We were very happy with the tour and would highly recommend Andrés to anyone visiting!
