It was easy as pie to get the Aremiti ferry from Tahiti to Moorea. We chose the ferry over flying just because it's such a short trip in either case. Luggage was handled well. We surrendered it to men who put our bags on a large cart with others' luggage and hand-carried our carry-ons to the ferry. Tons of space inside the ferry and no issue with taking a rolling carry-on and a laptop bag on board in the passenger area. If you're a male and the waters are choppy, be sure to hold on to the wall in the bathroom if you're using the urinal. :)

Firstly it’s important to know for future travelers that there are 2 ferry operators so you need to make sure your taxi takes you to the correct ticket agent. You’ll be looking for a yellow ferry with Vodafone written on it. Our driver took us to the wrong operator in moorea (even after we showed him what Viator had sent us) so when we went to get our tickets the lady said we don’t deal with Viator. So after a frustrating 10 minutes and her offering for us to buy a ferry ticket from her she reluctantly advised us “Oh that’s just over there.” You don’t want Armenti ferries. So we finally got our tickets. Ferry ride great. About 50 minutes. Much cheaper than the plane. Great selection of food and drinks on board. Would only ever travel this was to moorea and Papeete.

As soon as we came off of the ferry, our transfer guide was right there waiting for us, took our luggage and loaded us up and we were on our way. On time, great driver, very friendly.

This was Definitely the better ferry between the two ferries. (The other one was a less stable craft that we thought might capsize it rocked so hard from side to side. It was not a rough sea either.)

Good riddance. The ferry is comfortable somewhat difficult to get on and off it. Restaurant with good prices

We hesitated at first if this is a legit site because of the past reviews i’ve read. But Im glad we did book on this site, very fast and convenient. You just have to go to the ferry’s ticketing booth to claim the physical ticket, but otherwise everything went out smoothly.
