  I booked based on the description of having a private luxury vehicle with light snacks and drinks included. The description is not what I received. Although the driver was nice and got us to our destination safely, I felt bamboozled. I reached out to the customer service team immediately and received no response.

  Ok I’ll start by saying we read all the wonderful reviews and expected great service/hospitality. We received an email from island taxi saying the driver would be there holding a sign with our name when we arrived. Nobody was there to greet us. We ended up going to the sandals lounge to see if he was waiting there. Not there either. 2 hours later he showed up. My husband kept trying to make conversation asking questions about the island etc, it was like pulling teeth to get him to talk. (His name was Andy btw) when we finally started talking about HIM then he was all into it. Very disappointing. The so called “luxury vehicle” that picked us up was a Mercedes suv. With a cracked windshield and dirty back seat. Not very luxurious at all. We booked a round trip transfer. The driver who picked us up was a lot better (Miguel I believe was his name) he seemed to really appreciate his job, was very courteous and best of all he was on time. His vehicle was a lot cleaner too.

  Definitely would recommend. The roads in St Lucia are very curvy and the rides can be pretty long. This private transfer service was THE BEST! We had our own driver to and from our resort and the ride was that much easier versus being in a bus packed with other people. Our drivers even gave us snacks and water and some cool facts about the island as we drove along. Definitey book with them for your upcoming trip!

  Was very surprised to be picked up in a old Audi with the roof lining pinned up. I think the company should post photos of the cars they actually use instead of the multiple images of BMW trucks. I booked this company because my boyfriend is 6'10" and needs the extra legroom. I also wanted him to have a sense of luxury for his birthday. I messaged the company before hand about this with no response. I was sad my boyfriend basically had his knees to his chest in the backseat but our driver was great and kept the champagne flowing so we still enjoyed ourselves. On the trip back we were picked up in a very old Lexus. So old that it had a tape player. We took back streets around traffic and my boyfriend got a bit sick with all the twists and turns. We asked for water, as there was a cooler in the front seat. However, the driver had no water. So I guess the beverages are only on the way to your destination? ...and the front of the line service. didn't experience it all. I don't think it was worth the extra money. Or at least would have liked to see the car options ahead of time so I know what im getting into.

  In the description, it says that your driver will wait for you in the airport with your name on a sign. When we arrived, no one was waiting for us inside. We were escorted into the sandals lounge and had to explain that we didn’t want to use their free shuttles because we had our own private transportation. The Sandals employees helped us find our driver. The driver was pleasant and tried to take us on the fastest routes. There were snacks and beverages provided as per the description. The car was clean. For the trip back to the airport, there were no instructions on where to go to be picked up or at what time they would arrive to pick us up. We had one of the Sandals employees call the company to figure out this information. Overall, it was a good experience. I much preferred the private transfer over riding in a hot crowded bus down windy roads for an hour and a half, especially since I tend to get motion sickness.

  We have enjoyed using Carswell Francis' Island Taxi and Tours for two years now going from the airport up to Sandal's Grande St. Lucian. Safe, luxurious and price comparable, we would use no other service. The convenience of using the Fast Track to zip you through customs and into his BMW SUV (and a bottle of champagne) is exceptional and get's you on your way to the beach immediately! But it gets better... He now offers Fast Track on your way out that gets you through the departure wickets and on your way home expeditiously and conveniently. I would recommend Carswell Francis' Island Taxi and Tours to anyone who wants to cut through the lines, coming and going, and get on with your wonderful visit to St. Lucia!

• First time in St. Lucia

  This was my first time in St. Lucia. My resort offered round trip transportation to and from the airport but, I decided to get something special. I booked with Viator because it said it offered luxury transportation with fast track service, to included beer, champagne, snacks. My transportation was to Soufriere for a couple it cost 266.00. We were in seats 10 so we were close to the front of the airplane.. We came into the airport where a lady had my name displayed on a card. We were taken to customs and immigrations quickly and since we did not have any baggage to be retrieved we got out of the quickly. We meet up with Marshall who was very nice and walked us to our SUV. He offered piton ( beer) but, no champagne or snacks. We stopped at on or two sites for pictures and meet some locals before heading to our resort. Marshall picked us up when we had to leave. arriving at the airport we had anticipated we had fast track but, was told that was just for coming into the country only. luckily we arrived at the airport 2 hours before the flight left so time wise we were okay. I would like to get give Marshall 5 stars because he was awesome. As far as the 266.00 for the service I paided for well....I would give it average. because I didn't receive snacks or champagne. I don't know if its disclosed that fast track was provided when leaving the country but we had time. Thank you, Marshall and hopefully , we will see you next year.

• Our Luxury Roundtrip was nonexistence

  Upon our arrival to St. Lucia we were picked up on time and our driver escorted us to a Toyota Sequoyah. Then on our departure we were picked up from our resort in a Toyota van with several worn seat covers. These had many wholes in the seat covers. There was no luxury. Additionally, I booked this on my credit cards private website and I was under the impression that we would have the fast track on our departure. The driver was nice, but he quickly informed us that this was not case. Therefore, he quickly called the owner and the owner agreed to charge us $45.00 total so that we both could receive the fast track on our departure. I agreed, but I also called my credit card company because this is not the service that I was expecting. When I called and explained my position to the representative, she agreed and she also contacted the owner. He agreed with the representative and we ended up not being charged. I am giving them a two because while the services rendered upon our arrival met our expectations, the services rendered upon our departure were pathetic!!

  Excellent experience all around. Our flight was delayed 5 hrs on our honeymoon. Already tired and grumpy we were met at the arrivals gate by our representative without any delays and expedited through security, baggage, and customs as promised for the fasttrack service, which my fiancee agreed was totally worth it. We then exited to meet our driver Cavin who was friendly and helpful. Champagne, Piton beers, and snacks made our drive relaxing and enjoyable.

  We consider ourselves fortunate to have found and made our land transportation arrangements with Carswell. As mentioned in other reviews, he was engaging, patient and perceptive while focusing on making our first impression of his island so positive. The service provided after a five- and one-half hour flight; fast track through the airport to the quality vehicle, refreshments, and engaging interactions, ensured that we were relaxed and energized to start our holiday. This service was repeated when we returned to the airport at the end of our time on the island. Carswell has a unique understanding of the service he provides and was able to ensure we had a great experience. We will be returning to St. Lucia and will engage Island Taxi & Tours services to provide all our land transportation need. Thank you, Carswell.
